Ya know, Shell. When you try hard at something, you are supposed to pour your heart and soul into it. If you claim that you are genuinely trying your best, without putting your soul into it, then you are just lying to yourself.

Well... Simply tagging something as a total waste of time is what you do when you fail at something you think you tried your best. But, if one really did his best to achieve the best performance possible, then it wasn't a waste of time. It was acquired experience. Losing doesn't mean you failed, it only means that there's more to study and learn, and we're always learning.

I figure, that as a 10 year old, having your own catched and tamed pet animals massacrated by a random passersby is indeed a huge shock and disappointment. I feel bad for the lil' guy there.

Okay... So far, so good! I still don't really know what to do, to be honest, but I think this is the right path. (it's the only one that is open anyway)
So I'll rest for a while and get myself prepared for the next segment of the game!
