I have to ask, what kind of materials are needed for this, the Yellow Pikmin has my attention, because it doesn't like your average paper.

How do you like Pepakura Designer? I saw someone in r/fallout that made a t-51 helmet and its had my curiosity since.
I love it. I found a crack and it for free, so that's $30 I didn't have to spend. It takes a little while to learn though; you can't just auto-unfold a model. I'll soon make a tutorial and it'll why you can't.

Well, all you need is paper(thicker is recommended, but I don't have any, I just use regular printer paper), a color printer(once again, I don't have one, I have to color it by hand with a pencil), glue, markers(to color the edges of the paper, so now white is showing), and either a cutting mat and knife(recommended)or scissors.

This is actually really impressive, like I have said, I have little to no experience with polygonal models, or texturing them. So I find this to be quite cool.
Do you sell your finished products, or do you just do this as a hobby for your own entertainment?

Considering that he is using copyrighted characters, I would imagine that this is for a hobby instead of making any profits.

Hmm I don't, I know some people that make arts and crafts using copyrighted characters, and still make profits.

I think they could more or less get away with it as long as it is small scale and they acknowledge the authors of the original material.

That is why I am asking, because I doubt Final here has an entire enterprise to manufacture and sell these at a large scale, I mean, he just said he doesn't have many of the tools that are usually recommended.

Yeah I don't sell them, mainly because I don't know many people who would buy them and I don't want to get in trouble with copyrights and such(I have ROMs on my computer, I don't want to alert any more attention than necessary). I just make them for fun, or for presents. Or I design for blogs and sites.
