Added a folder to the VA/SFX dump in the first post. It contains new VA and edited SFX used in Super Bouncy Cat.

I want this to be Neko's new alternative costume (not main). His fur is darker, his tube is brighter and his stripes, like in the more recent depictions, are black.
EDIT:
Neko's new Back-Kick attack: Plan B.
Neko dashes back to create space between him and the opponent. At the start, Neko will kick up a star (as if kicking up dust) that deals a little damage and a little knockback. It's not strong, but it helps Neko escape.
EDIT 2: Improved the animation.

Sheet updated in first post.
This is Neko's aerial down punch or kick (I want both commands to trigger this attack). Based on when Neko can't bounce, I call this the Flat Dive. The tube protects Neko from most of the impact. It doesn't protect his opponent though. SMACK!!!

That squash and stretch is so nice. He feels so squishy. He should bounce like Vipershark's elbow so you can do it one ore more times. Bouncy Bouncy Bouncy.

That would make more sense, since he is the Bouncy Cat after all. Perhaps one input (Down-Punch in mid-air for example) triggers Flat Dive (animation as is) and the other (Down-Kick in mid-air) the Bouncy Dive that immediately launches Neko back into the air when hitting the ground (skipping the getting-up frame too). This actually sounds pretty interesting.

So just hold down and switch from pressing kick and punch? Pretty cool. He could just bounce in the air immediately after he hits the ground and you can just press down punch again. Either way sounds pretty bouncy. That down punch to uppercut combo is awesome with Neko thought as well as his forward kick duck kick combo it's like a double dash! it's cool effective and cute all in one.
EDIT: Actually you could make him strike a different pose for when he presses punch or kick. Punch the flat dive. then when he bounces up and you press down kick you strikes like a "Hey baby, come to bed" kinda pose like what they do in cartoons when someone is taking a dive from major heights. And then when you keep doing the move he strikes a pose bounces strikes a different pose. Adds some comedy to the damage your causing.

eh, I think something like that would be better suited to like one of Street Fighter III's EX variations of specials, where Neko simply does the extra bounce animation upon properly executing the body splash (and forcing knockdown on the opponent) - doing it like Greninja's down-smash in SSB4 (which is what I'm getting from this convo) would make the move sort of overpowered in a traditional fighter's environment as it'd be too easy to just mash, mash, mash the attack in coordination to their recovery animations :/

Nah, I want to see the Flat Dive and Bouncy Dive idea in action first. If these are indeed overpowered, it can be changed.
I do want to give Bouncy Dive some cooldown so that Neko can't attack when going up and he moves straight up and down (not counting the initial jump), so moving back or getting knocked back keeps you from getting hit repeatedly. Bouncy Dive spammers are probably best dealt with projectile spam.

"This is my ultimate form! Goldstar Neko, Galactic Lion Soul! Taste the power of my Dainyaken!"
Or as Neko would put it:
"Nya!"
Just the projectile and I'm done!

Best viewed in the Dark Resource theme.
I've changed Bistro's colors from Neko's third alt. Special to match his color scheme in Super Bouncy Cat. Also added a recolor based on Mao, because why not.

Is that an SSJ3 Spirit Bomb?!

No. It's Goldstar Neko's Dainyaken. Toooooootally different.
