Considering the entire project is getting a reboot, I guess it would be safe to resume my process on my character.
In case you're wondering, Iocus helped me on these, but I plan on making some more sprites myself.
By the way, I'm not very interested in becoming a playable character. Instead, I would like to become an assist that is randomly summoned to the field if possible.
cute hair / 10
I do think however that your character might have too many small details that makes them look kinda thrown together (maybe that's the point?)
the pants pouch and the shoulder plate, I think, are probably the ripest for removal
just my 2 cents though
but god the cutest hair
Hey, guys, ever since I got out of Full Sail, I feel a little rusty right now in terms of spriting and general art. I haven't done much for my character yet, but hopefully these rough concepts provide some interesting ideas?

Anyway, a lot of E-Man's gimmick is luck based. He has the potential to greatly shift the tide of battle, but he's not immune to having a spell fizzle out, which causes some embarrassment and has him go away.

So...if there's an actual chance that if I managed to get the opponent in the perfect situation to get hit by E-Man's burst magic and then it doesn't do anything...
why would I pick E-Man over say, Iocus or any other assist (with a guaranteed 100% chance of attacking) as an helper? :/
Well, I just wanted to think of ways to make sure E-Man isn't overpowered.

It's generally not a good idea to have a luck-based mechanic in a 1v1 fighting game though, especially for a special attack that you use to get out of a bind. :/
Point taken. You reckon I should refine the luck based mechanic, or should I think of another move set?
I think you should sprite what you've already drawn, then determine the rest afterwards.
