The arms are pretty short in the special animation, if compared to the arms of the other animations. Otherwise, so far so good!

i dont recall kh ever getting an anime adaptation, so probably not. plus, i was going to use haruhi instead

For the Trombone move, I'd recommend making him lean forward a little more. It wouldn't hurt it to have a little lunge going on either

An additional suggestion for the trombone attack would be to have the slide appear further back, and then have it slide forwards to hit the opponent.

i know i shouldnt be restarting, but i'd rather take some c+c to make the whole idle sprite better. its still a work in progress because i currently have these problems:
*dont know what to do with recme's right hand
*trouble with arm sizes and bending them at the right places
*how to put the face in
*how to fix the weird chest + stomach area. he sorta looks like he's leaning forward, but idk.
for the face, i want the same relaxed face as the previous sprite, but whenever i try to apply it, it always looks off. any edits would be helpful before i moved on.

i think that you should have an idea of 'what kind of fighter do you want to be'?
as in, finding an archetype, a 'reason' to be in the roster, and work with that
for example I made gilbert to be a character with easy juggle moves and projectives, however he isn't too strong as-is. You could use these info to build your character better
i made some stance tests to make him more focused on battle while being lax at the same time
