Why are you asking us? If you want him to make his account now, I don't see what's stopping you. Personally, a lot of us on here wouldn't care if he made an account or not, so go ahead.
He could have made it the first time you asked. Just because you were logged in at his house does not mean anything would have happened to either of you if he registered.
