While I'll admit yeah, I did stoop to harsh criticism to his work (which might have started this change in the convo honestly) there's no reason you can't contribute to the discussion if need be. By no means is this a circlejerk of any sort - this is a real, valid issue that affects many of us, big and small. ):


That said, this "crusade" is a little different - we're not going to stabilize an army in Dazz's defense or anything or rise up in the name of Anonymous, etc. The idea more or less is to get this information out in the public - to spread the word. This might be hard for you to believe - but he's actually psychologically damaged some people bad enough to give them medical and emotional problems, and has even ruined some of their futures.

Psyguy's toxic AND a pedophile, apparently and that's why some of us are making a big deal out of this.

I agree that word should get out, but I do have to say aside from his pedophilic behavior and sexual misdemeanor, we should just lay back on calling him out on stuff. I've learned a long time ago that it's not really worth the effort.

What is worth the effort is keeping his stinking hands away from minors, and women in general. That's the only thing worth fighting for.

Well I figured that I should at the very least, you know, add in my story as it was kinda relevant, being a young teenage baby and getting yelled at by someone for asking a simple question who would consistently prey on young teenage babies.

I'm getting a bit of a history lesson here. I forgot that Psyguy was first involved with this place way back. This is all quite surprising, even though I wasn't really a fan of Psyguy back in the day either.

It's strange since I've only just started talking to someone a while back who is apparently an associate of Psyguy's (I don't know to what extent, other than filming game footage for and sometimes appearing on the podcast). He certainly didn't make any mention of this... but then he wouldn't be one to randomly bring this sort of thing up, would he?

Don't mean to be captain anal here, but from what I can gather here, Psy's actions aren't pedophilia at all, but rather ephebophilia. Yes, there is a very strict difference and it seems people lump the latter in with the former.

It's still with minors though, and that counts to the law.

i think it's the fact that no one really uses the term to begin with - as in it's not really publicized to begin with, and also "pedophile" is a pretty nastily-weighted term to begin with, so when speaking in reference to the preference of minors. it also sounds straight-up awful given the perception of the "pedo" age group ):

pardon my extreme naivete tho but do people actually do this on social media? ("i dont like kids, i'm an EPHEBOPHILE!! GET IT RIGHT") i would think admitting something like this publicly (on social media, especially) is shooting yourself in the foot

Yep, it's the only time I ever see it used. People use the term and try to argue that it's somehow makes them superior to pedophiles, and they shouldn't be lumped in with those kind of people and that what they're doing isn't as bad

It's not exactly new, there are still groups of paedophiles who argue that it's not wrong and shouldn't be illegal, so by comparison that's practically a pleasure to sift through.
Pretty sure there are still parts of Reddit that practically count as confessions.

ive only seen people correct other people being called pedophiles, i.e. "actually if he raped a thirteen year old hes only an ephebophile" its a hilarious social faux pas
