Not sure if any of you have seen this, but the internet is pretty much going mental over Psyguy being a complete twat...

I hardly know Psyguy that well, so I don't know what to make of this.

Either way, though, from what I read, he had this coming.

So, are people just pissed at this guy and are making things up or did he actually do these things?

I find it silly something like this gets that kind of attention, yet when the next SOPA-like threat comes to surface, it hardly gets such protesting enthusiasm, until the last minute. Priorities, bro.

To be fair, the first SOPA got more attention than this. What I figured is that since SOPA-like bills keep popping out and fizzling out almost as quickly, people are starting to not make so much of a big deal about them anymore.

Psyguy has a history of abuse, and based on my personal experience with him, I have no reason to doubt any of this. I'm putting my own post out on Tumblr later through a channel that will garner better exposure than me making an account just to post it.

People can be up in arms about more than one thing at a time - a guy being sexually abusive to people, nevermind minors, is extremely important. Don't get angry that people are defending others who have been involved in this and not talking about SOPA again, for the 50th, when the message remains the same.

Personally, I'm glad someone is calling him out for being unsavory overall. The problem with the web is that when someone gets popular, we only focus on their positive traits and contributions and let their more negative qualities slide. It's easier to call less popular users out because not only have they contributed far less, but also that's the only side we see of them. For challenging a user like Mecha for example, it's harder to call him out without getting attacked by fans due of the following he has gained through a Hat in Time.

It's great to know that Psyguy is still vulnerable to having to answer for his jerkiness regardless of the reputation he had with this site and his comics.

I misread this as Puggsoy at first, and I was a bit confused.

But isn't there a deal about Psyguy being a scam artist too? I remember seeing some stuff about him making empty promises whenever a different project came up

Its kind of hard to grasp how deep these things run. If you asked me about this kind of stuff 4 years ago, I'd barely know it was a thing.

Well said, Dazz! It was a bit lengthy, but you said everything you wanted to say and it covered a lot of details in one fell swoop. Not only does it give more insight on the history of this web site, but also I'm more aware of what we're up against now.

Even though I never had any contact with Psyguy at all in my life, I actually ran into people who treated me in a similar way Psyguy treated you and your friends, Dazz. I don't know if there's anything I can do to help, but I'm willing to help you after hearing your thoughts on the matter.

Woah. It's weird to see these old names coming out to trash the guy. I remember I used to be really jealous of his little comics circle 'cause I thought it'd be so cool to have hosted works with your buddies like that ahah... It's kind of nostalgic...These are pretty bad terms to reminisce under, I guess.

I remember seeing stuff about the Dazz+tSR+psyguy argument a long time ago. I didn't really jump to any conclusions because I didn't know any details, but I became pretty skeptical of psyguy after that. I mean, I didn't care much 'cause I just wanted bad comics, but even back then it wouldn't have surprised me to find out he's apparently some massive creeper, and it certainly doesn't surprise me now.

Some of the posts on the tumblr seem kind of unnecessary... Like, I don't know how I feel about posting entire chat logs... That doesn't really seem okay.

But I certainly think it's important to call out some guy who's apparently preying on minors. Especially since he has...um...influence, for whatever reason.

This is not slobbish or awful at all, no, this is completely acceptable behavior for a content creator
(though I wish people would cosplay my original characters i won't sleep with you if you do though, I'm sorry)
