The point being I'd like a change, so far there are really good suggestions.
i'm confused i fail to see how that's gender discrimination at all
it's inappropriate or suggestive, sure, but not sexist
i think derahex means sexist as in: we see this image, though we would probably never come across a man loli doing the same thing
are there even bishie games
never would we see a man loli doing anything suggestive, no
also, there are plenty of bishie/shota games - plenty of the former, the latter you really, really have to hunt for in the japanese underground or the sleazy part of the internet (as far as i'm concerned though, guilty gear is the premium shota game)
lol i cant believe theres loli porn on tsr
While I can't comment on that specific game, the icons are supposed to be indicitive of the game it leads to. If a screen like that is representative of the main goal of the game, it's an icon that should be used. If it's only being used to be titillating, I think he's right and it should be changed.
Beat Em and Eat Em should show that it's all about in the same way Mortal Kombat should. We're just a showcase. We didn't make these games.
Being just a showcase is a great argument for ripping and archiving even those sorts of things, but not so much for at least keeping those looking for other more innocent games from having to see that every time they browse.
Video and books stores at least keep the adult stuff covered and/or behind counters
and they generally don't make most of their content either.
I'm pretty sure there are actually very few games that don't have at least one SFW visual that clearly shows what they are about. Or at the very least be arranged on the icon in such a way that it's not so bad.
(At least before going into, are we really sure we what to be ripping this territory)
