I laugh while reading the first one but on the second one I wasn't really sure of what they were playing because when I read play house I was thinking something like pretending having a house or something a long those lines but when I read it a few time I understood it may I suggest making the house name like this House hopefully that gives the impression that it's an name and not an object.

thanks man. lol, i hate explaining jokes. Yes I think you have it right. She asks him to play house; meaning she wants to pretend mommy and daddy blah blah. He misinterprets and takes charge of play time and bases the gameplay of house from the medical drama House M.D.

Oh so that's what we are talking about. Well I was think that on the last two panels she was on a bed waiting to be examined but since that's not the case why instead of making it a bed make it so she's like sitting on a table with some food on the table, hopefully that helps the joke. It's a really creative idea but it just not well explained.
