The shadow is in and it does help a bit but it may need a little tweaking.

As for leaving it up forever, that would ruin its specialness! It will be around through the month though so enjoy it while it lasts!

I am glad you like it though. Especially the snow on the green bars (since Dazz initially didn't want to do it Tongue). I still want to put that in on the section headers of the main site too, as well as add something to the header to round it out (and make it visible on mobile) but the forum was definitely the priority in terms of bringing Christmas to the network.
I'm not sure if you're being sarcastic here or being legit serious, lol

Oh, that's because I found out this morning that I'm retarded. Blank

That's only a drop shadow. For it to work all-over, you'll want to make it in each corner to give it the intended effect:

Code:
thead {
   -webkit-text-stroke: 1px #457A2F; // for browsers that use webkit
text-shadow: // for those that don't. the downer with this technique i just dreamed up is that it'll only work for 1px stroke. Any more and you'll see gaps
    -1px -1px 0 #457A2F,
    1px -1px 0 #457A2F,
    -1px 1px 0 #457A2F,
    1px 1px 0 #457A2F;
}

EDIT: Just tried it and it definitely helps, as opposed to the single text-shadow. Oops, I wish I suggested this before ):
I wasn't being sarcastic. The actual drop-shadow did make a slight difference but I switched it to your method (minus the webkit stroke since I try to avoid vendor prefixes) so have a look now.

Yeah, it was kinda hard to tell before - but now it looks perfect and the difference is huge. It's really easy to see the contrast between the stroke and the snowcaps now. Once again, this theme looks awesome as heck now. :V

Oh, I was referring to this:

Usually when asking about the forum, it usually seems as if it's the lowest priority in terms of updates and fixes. @___@
The main site lately seems to be the main focus of the staff (well, as it should be - that's the most outward-facing part of the site, figuratively speaking).

However, it's been pretty well-tended to lately, with Vipershark's Darkest Resource and most recently this theme, so it sounds like the forum's gonna finally gonna get all that lovin'. Heart
New suggestion:
Is it possible to create a regular backup of the entire Sprite/Model/Texture/Sound collection available to download? (Maybe a zip file)
How much does it take in terms of file size?
I find it useful to have a local backup in case of internet connection failure or in moments the site is down.
There's a 3GB backup of the sprite section here, but it's very outdated.
If you need to keep a sheet downloaded - here's a tip. Download it.

We aren't going to give people the ability to download our entire site. That link you've given was from somebody who has taken our site without permission and given it away. We remain open from revenue generated through advertising - it pays for our server. If we don't get traffic because people just download everything and share it in that fashion, we close. It's that simple.
Ok, I understand and I'll follow you're advice. If it's impossible to download the entire database I'll download just what I want.
One thing I really don't want is this website down forever, so thanks anyway!

In addition to what Dazz said, I just want to point out that, unzipped, an archive of all four sites would currently be 88.4 GB. Zipping it would not reduce the size much at all since the vast majority of the contents are images and already zipped resources. So, even if there were no concerns about the site going down or people stealing content to re-host the entire site elsewhere, that is a massive download and offering it to the public would kill our server, especially given how often such an archive would need to be updated.
I've got a couple suggestions involving game icons.

First up, Pokemon X/Y. As someone suggested on TSR, having an icon of Groudon can get it confused with OR/AS, so how about we change it to something like, a battle, or a picture of Xerneas or Yveltal?

Second, I think the Cel Damage icon should be one that reflects all versions of the game. (The weapon that Sinder is using in the current icon is not available in the Gamecube/Xbox version, which is the version I am ripping from)

Here is my proposed replacement for the former:

And here is my proposed replacement for the latter:

Good call on both of those, replaced Smile
Unfortunately, it's only the TSR ones that were replaced. Could you please replace them on TMR as well? Thanks.
Oh right, sure thing. If a site isn't specified I just assume TSR Tongue Done now.
thread-display - linear inverse (oldest first) Smile
I can't add or modify features on the core forum software.

In this case though, what you want already exists. Look at the bottom of the thread list. There are drop downs there that your can use to control display preferences.
heh, kk, I understand that Smile
(I'm guessing either a compiled backend or liscense right??)

and I meant posts when I said thread display... heh
this post I'm making now would be at the top of page 1.
(it's just my preference, and alot of forum softwares/hosts lack this feature)
