BTW I do that and never get the notifications: is something wrong with my settings, Pete?

Do you have a valid email address on your account? Have you checked your junk folder? Emails definitely go out successfully so chances are, if you're not seeing them, they're being marked as spam.
It's ok, I checked and somehow my notifs were turned off. Thankfully the fix was easy.
Maybe you should add a "download all" button to a certain section on a game where if you click it you'll get a .zip file containing all the assets in that section? Since some games have a huge amount of assets and It'd take an insanely long time to download all of them. Here's a mockup of what I mean:
Note that this may be better for sprites and textures than models and sounds
Download all has been suggested many times but it’s not happening. Creating a zip on the fly especially when there are a lot of files to include, is a massively inefficient and server-intensive process. On top of that, there are very few reasons to be downloading entire sections at once.
Just something that I thought I'd mention, it would be a good idea to specify fangames in the same way ROM hacks, homebrews, and bootlegs currently are.
Perhaps I just don't see it in an expected location, but how about displaying the current size of the submissions queue for the entire subsite (maybe only for logged-in users)? This would help give an idea of how long submissions might take to be processed.
Relatedly, I'd like my unapproved submissions to know where they are in the queue (e.g. "queued behind 345 others"). Obviously this only makes sense if it's an actual first-in-first-out queue rather than a selective glob.
I’m not against showing the total number of pending submissions. I’m just not sure where to put it. Staff see it on a dedicated staff navigation bar but it would look out of place elsewhere. I’m open to suggestions here though.
As for queue position, that won’t work. While the queue is sorted oldest to newest (with priority given to submissions with icons), the staff is not required to work through it in that order so that number would be meaningless.
The first place I looked for the pending submissions count was on the stats page under Main Stats, if that helps.
Hmm... that's not a bad idea. I'll add that in now. Thanks!
I've have an idea for the site and I thought I'd post it here.
An option of sorts on submitter profiles for all four resources to switch between a list of games by console and a list of games by genre. Since there's no other way to see which genre a user specializes in, I thought it'd be an interesting addition to the site.
How about on a submitter profile, you can have an "icon view" of all the sprite sheets, like you can with games.

I like this idea and will look into adding it. If it falls off the radar, feel free to message me on Discord to remind me though!

I originally left this out on purpose due to the fact that there can be thousands of items displayed on submitter profiles but I suppose I can give it a try. Maybe I'll default it to text view (or perhaps even lock it to text view) when there are more than a certain number of items on the page.
Edit:
So I randomly felt inspired this morning and implemented both of these! I have one small change I still need to make to genre viewing on profiles but everything else should work. Please let me know if you notice any issues though.
Big thanks, Petie! Glad to see the idea implemented; it looks really nice.

Maybe the text to icon switching view could work independently between the main site and user profiles incase people like the old format of the user pages of the Spriters/Models/Textures Resources using text mode and the rest of those resources using icons. Especially on profiles displaying hundreds (or thousands) of sheet icons, which is far more than many game sections show.
