Double post. This is a goblin knight from what I'm working on.

The Goblin Knight and the background it is in gives off a really strong Kingdom Hearts vibe to me. Maybe if you look up the Heartless from that game series, it'll give you plenty of ideas to work with?

for hair, draw solid shapes then add shading. don't worry about doing individual strands and stuff.

Can you guys please help me not suck in photoshop. How can I improve?

Umm, I assume you're using a drawing tablet?

If so, then basically you can use the pencil tool (I don't remember exactly which one it is, I just know it's not pen because that's for drawing curved paths) to make a sketch of your piece on the bottom layer, then make a new layer overtop that and draw the clean(er) lineart overtop.

...If you're using a mouse, however, then all I can say is good luck lol.

It's the brush. The pencil tool is basically a brush without AA. Handy for sprites.

This is my first doodle in Illistrator. I never thought that I could draw like this, but virt indspired me to do this BECAUSE I WANT TO DRAW BETTER THAN HE CAN FFFFUUUUUU!!!

You did pretty well with the hand and the musculature looks pretty good.
