Rekindled interest in doing this, but I feel like I'm getting sick today and I feel dizzy, so I stopped before I ruined it. I don't remember how far along I was when I posted last.
I drew Crep beating up a random thug design I made with his game BmUP in mind.

Finally finished.
Quote:I love Minoriko.
I wanted to prove to myself that I could make something that looks decent without having a lot of knowledge or experience with detail. I specifically went for something simple, hoping that the shading and coloring would bring out the life of Minoriko. Shading and style can make even the most simple of artstyles look incredible.
Of course I don’t think this looks incredible. It’s the first time I ever attempted anything like this. The background looks like it was made by a 9 year old, I’ve never done backgrounds before lol. I have no experience with making water either. Or skies. Or anything really. I did the background in like 30 minutes while I spent one and a half days making Minoriko.
yeah so you drew the actual color your brain thinks there should be on everything, indepently of lighting (grass is green so let's draw it green, etc)
so just to try and aim for a more united palette i played around with color gradient filters on photoshop to show you what you could do
and yeah also that elsa is there cause i also gave this same advice to a guy a while ago
I think Paint Tool SAI has that feature? Where can I find it on there?
I don't have photoshop and I can't really be bothered to resort to *cough* questionable methods to obtain it.
So I actually wanted to test my abilities drawing background environments and this is what happened.
Just the usual detective Mickey from the european Disney comics, except I specifically drew the outfit from Zenigata.
I like how he's so much more complex to draw than one of his main enemies...
Nuts! Why does the European Disney comics get the coolest interpretations of Disney characters? Heck, they even have Donald Duck as this awesome superhero in Italy!
Was practicing drawing male anatomy and ended up stealing Chris2Balls[:B]'s famous line in the process...
edit: another horrid photo for you all. Deal with it.

Excuse me, but how in the world did you manage to sketch a photographic image of my likeness without a reference pic?
(yes everyone it's true, I'm actually a super-muscular nude Krillin IRL)
