/\ really good, you never cease to amaze me
my own characters, for once. disregard the codenames
>Doctor Camoens
i see what you did there
I wasn't going to put this here but it was pretty well received on the Heroes of the Storm subreddit.
The overall design looks real cool from my perspective psychospacecow. I'm already thinking of design variations!
You're probably thinking, "design variations wtf??". Well see, whenever I see drawings that peak my interest, my mind begins to break down the drawings and figure out what made it so interesting. Then I take note of that and switch the designs up a bit in my head and see if it would be as interesting. If it does, then begin to doodle to see if I can make something new that's similar to what originally interested me. It's my was of exercising my creativity I guess.
Sorry if that was confusing, I was trying to explain a sub-conscience reaction so...
Go right on ahead if you want. Its supposed to be the Valla that's used as Heroes of The Storm's demon hunter from Diablo 3, with a design more akin to a Starcraft 2 reaper.
Good to see others animating and not just me. The animation, while good and has excellent key frames, is a bit choppy and might need to have some in-betweens or you could speed it up slightly to even it out?
Anyway, I've drawn quite a bit over the past couple of days.
First time I've drawn anything Star Wars related since I was a toddler.
I know his gun's not perfect. I had internet troubles the day I drew it and couldn't get a proper reference for it.
I based this on a sprite from Super Castlevania IV with my own personal touch.
Catriona stopping a goblin knight in his tracks just long enough to cut his arm off without him reacting.
Andross. Is this too narmy looking?
Andrew Oikonny. The biggest loser from the Star Fox series.... next to Panther Caroso.
Catriona redesigned to be easier on my hand when drawing her face.
Here's a dog. A dog on the phone.
Any criticisms?
^ Reminds me of something from Tom and Jerry or something. I like it!
Strolling around at the speed of a moderately fast walk.
Trying out digital inking of my drawings.
I think I did good?
I thought about drawing again. This is supposed to be some kind of dark character.
I'm new to inking so I need some time to adjust... Please give me crit guys!
Edit: I added some shading with pencil for better visibility.
FillertheFreak: re:digital inking. not bad, man. clean lines, but you need to watch where you put the "creases" in the limbs. also the dog's left thumb is on the wrong side.
BlueBlur: getting a King of Fighter's feel from this guy. is he Iori's younger bro? also too big. you could resize it with code by making a full post (it used to be easier than this. what happened??)
Smithy: great as always. i like the flow ofyour character art.
some of mine.
^ just added the Fletchling
