been obsessing over an old old cartoon character. you may or may not know him/her
Krazy Kat. Now that's obscure. Even the creator couldn't decide on the gender. (Was female in the bland 60s cartoon)
that's more or less the beauty of krazy as a character. i was really surprised to learn that a character from a time before gender became more of a spectrum who was androgynous at least. some people theorized that characterization represents a part of george herriman, the creator - except with his race instead of gender.
kind of plays on the theory that some things just are what they're meant to be and shouldn't be intervened with.
Epic Games' Jazz Jackrabbit and Devan Shell.
I had way too much fun making this.
I haven't been doing a lot that doesn't relate to a comic I'm currently working on, so here's a drawing of 2-D I did in the middle of class.
Didn't drawn in a long time... time for practise!
Some character and monster designs for a card game series I made up called "
Summoners Eye". Each character is shown with their "
Deck Master":
Each of these characters have a "
Summoners Eye". It differs from person to person and can be used to activate some sort of special powers. Before each of them can use those powers to their fullest extend, they will have to learn mastering these before.
In detail:
Juka (top picture, left) is a blind girl for example, but thanks to the Summoner Eye, she can "hear" the cards and also can use the magic of the eye to use echos to orientate herself a little (like a bat sees with sound). Also, she can manipulate her sense of hearing, so that she can disable certain sound frequencies, so that she will be unable to hear those sounds.
Her deck of choice is the Echon archetype.
The girl on the right is Lyra. Her special power is to create a protective crystal bubble, which she can surround herself within. Not only does it deflect all kinds of danger but it also prevents her from drowning or suffocation.
Her main deck archetype are the Goo Girls.
In the picture below we have Monika, the nerdy girl with the glasses on the left. With her "Eye Power", she is able to see through someone else’s eyes. For example, if she needs to know, where someone of her missing friends is, she can use the power, to be able to see what the person she is looking for is currently seeing, in order to tell where she can find the missing person.
Cybugs are her favorite archetype to play with.
The huge girl with the long hair on the right is called Cia. Her special ability is to change the gravitation of herself and even of other people or objects surrounding her. She can make things being pulled or pushed by the gravitational force, either incredible light or extremely strong. That way, she is able to jump very high, swimming through the air and even more.
Cia always counts on her Beemazoness deck in duels.
I enjoyed to draw these characters
.
Cia and her Beemazoness were killer to draw tho...
EDIT:
Some more of my StarrieA art (the classic and the circus designs)
Hey im back.
Idk i felt like drawing some muscles. Looking to get back into art again.
Sorry about the double post but here's another one.
