I played the demo and now my left hand really hurts.
It was great though.
And jesus, that villager down+b. I never knew that was one of his moves but I managed to successfully kill with it the first time I used the attack. It was hilarious watching him plant, water and chop down the tree and then watch the CPU go flying at a rather low percentage.
I think my favorite thing about the Villager (which the CPU doesn't seem to want to do with me) is that they can pocket the timbered trees and throw them back at each other over and over. I can't wait to be in a match throwing the trees back and forth between pockets. xD
So the text-only Tower of Smash leak continues. As always, there's no supporting evidence for this leak, so again don't necessarily take it at face value. However, there are a few reasons I WANT this to be real.
-Bowser's Castle
-Mt Dedede
-Tourian
-Bramble mutha-fuckin' Blast

Please let this be real. It shouldn't have taken five Smash games to get a Bowser's castle stage
To be absolutely fair, the Paper Mario stage features a small SMALL Bowser's Castle section. A full-fledged castle stage is definitely necessary in my eyes, though.
Alright, I didn't comment on the first one, but I'll offer my analysis on this new stage list.
-Nimbasa City is spelled wrong.
-Three new Kirby stages, plus Halberd, plus Dreamland on 3DS? No.
-Neither of the DK stages are based on either of the Returns games. Seems kind of silly to me.
-Another Yoshi's Story stage? We had to wait until Brawl to get one based on Yoshi's most popular game. You think we're really gonna take a step back?
-The Familiar stages make me wanna punch someone.
-Endless Ocean...? Really?
With all that out of the way, I think this is a fine stage list. I can see myself getting really excited for Greenhouse, Gyromite, and Shooting Gallery, but I imagine they'll just end up like Flat Zone 2, 75m and Mario Bros. (Thank god those last two aren't on the familiar stages list)
Yo bruh, Yoshi's Story is the best, I would welcome a 100 stages based off of the off the wall design that game had.
Endless Ocean stage, huh? That's interesting.
Would be cool if, within the scenery, one could get to see various aquatic creatures from different Nintendo franchises, and if, besides
the heavenly main theme, the music selection has many of the mystic aquatic/ice level themes from other games as well.
Hoping that, if that's the case, we get to hear themes like
Dire Dire Docks,
Aquatic Ambience,
Phendrana Drifts,
Zoness,
Abandoned Ship, among others.
Why are all these fake leaks so much more exciting than the real things?
Mainly because, unfortunately, idealism about characters and stages doesn't translate well to real life, mainly due to time constraints.

In the latest article of Famitsu there are some interesting tidbits. As I've said many times, it turns out the reason for so many Kid Icarus enemies and content is that the enemies were already optimized for 3DS use, and fit well in a Smash style gameplay.
Strangely, he also mentions Melee for some reason. I guess just addressing people vocalizing that it is easy to just pull data from Melee and put it in a modern game, which it's not.
I don't get Sakurai. Yoshi and all the Pokemon can have human voice actors. Why can't DK, Diddy and Bowser?
It's just one of those wierd things, like how the Lakitu's assist is 8-bit but Hammer Bro is in 3D. No consistency.
