Prepare yourselves for 10/23.

There's apparently going to be "50 new things" to show.

49 new music tracks and 1 new game mode!

49 menus and a trophy.

The main site refers to it as a "50-Fact Extravaganza". The problem therein is that a "fact" can be pretty much any miniscule thing, such as "Mario's shirt is red".

I really hope this turns out to be rage-inducing because it will be hilarious to watch the internet burn down.

Yeah it looks like it's gonna be like clickbait, but a whole event.

- Mario in HD!
- Link in HD!
- Pikachu in HD!
- Kirby in HD!

It'd be lol if it actually turned out to be extremely cool, though (remember, there's 49 roster spots in Smash Bros, so they could always round out that roster to a nice 50, and, well, there's 50 "new facts", so, uh, that'd be nice)

(double lol if it turned out to be Bayonetta which is why it's on 10/23)

As much as I would kill to have Bayonetta in SSB4, I don't see it possible because:

1. Even the Wii U version is rated E10+. If SUMO Digital had to axe Bayonetta from Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed because they couldn't figure out a way to keep her in-character while keeping the rating at E10+, then there is no way she'd be able to get in SSB4, which is also rated E10+.

2. Hideki Kamiya has gotten extremely annoyed by fans constantly requesting her to be in SSB4.

3. IIRC, they said that both the Wii U and 3DS versions would have the same roster, and seeing as how she wasn't in the 3DS version...

Maybe she could get a trophy like Rayman.

If by rage inducing you mean "it includes Ridley", then by all means. I just want to see how he looks in HD, whether he's a boss or not.

i doubt she'll get a trophy considering that tharja(that fire emblem character) got removed from the 3ds version.

Looks like Duck Hunt is likely going to be the "Big Reveal" on Thursday.

Hopefully we'll get to see some cool new modes, though.

You have to remember that there are multiple "big reveals" coming on Thursday.
