I'd be okayish with Shantae hitting the Smash scene (and I think she'd make a great amiibo), though I'm not really fond of her games.
Actually I wish I did like her games because I like her character (and Risky) but I just can't get into the games ;-;
Honestly I'd like to see Frogger now that we have Pac-Man, and since he's owned by Konami... just ask for Frogger, Snake, Bomberman, and Simon in one fell swoop Nintendo.

So Sakurai said this in an interview:
"Personally, I feel that if you want to play a fighting game seriously, there are other competitive fighting games that are more suited to that, and people like that could have fun playing those. If you play Smash Brothers seriously as a competitive game, the game itself has no future."
As someone who plays Smash competitively, fuck Sakurai. I love how his view on Smash seems to be "play however you want, unless you want to play it like this.
