im with this too. i never really liked the other mario karts since the control was very loose and wobbly. mario kart 8 was perfect for me since the physics were more... solid? the only thing that i found bad about this formula is how repetitive everything really gets.

Fourthing this. MK8 STILL doesn't have the Double Dash two-seaters, but out of any MarioKart I've played it's not "overpolished" - it's "literally perfect". "Overpolished" is a game like The Order, where there's more focus on making the game look too sexy though overall it's unexciting and just not fun to play.

That's gonna happen anyway when more details on the new DLC come out
Actually, speaking of which I feel like there's an inevitable new Nintendo Direct incoming, that's gonna shed light on the DLC Nintendo's putting out soon...or something. Like, Mewtwo's right around the corner, and as the date for the Club Nintendo DLC's closing in, they have to spill the info somehow. Waiting until E3 for these kinda things would be...
stupid
Why would I make a revival post of the Mario kart thread in the smash thread

Well, you see, you made this post:
(03-03-2015, 02:46 AM)Iceman404 Wrote: [ -> ]Perhaps I'll write up a long analysis on what I like and dislike about it sometime this week to revive the thread and spark discussion. It's a very similar topic of "too much restrictions/polish".
And I
totally didn't read Kriven's post and
still thought you were still talking about fixed values. Knowing you smashfolk, you could easily write up a long analysis on the fixed values used in Melee and Smash 4 without batting an eye. Perhaps you could have been clearer that you were talking about the mechanics of a kart racing game and not that you were going to further elaborate on the mechanics of everyone's favorite brawler u_u
;
I humbly apologize, and kindly ask that you disregard my negligence and lack of common sense on the World Wide Web, as I am only human and do not read every post's content in a painstakingly consistent fashion. u___u;
A thread being posted in is not dead, and a thread that is not being posted in is dead.
Forgive me if it's been asked but has anyone got the Super Smash Bros. music CD's yet? (I have to wait until April in Australia.

Yep, got mine.
The only disappointment I've had with it is that it doesn't have that bad ass magicant music, other than that it's free and it's a nice bonus for having both games.
The latest balance patch is weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeiiiird...
When I think of broken characters, the last thing that comes to mind is the literal sense of the word as character data is accidentally swapped around XD
That skill ceiling is legendary...
