I've decided to throw my vote away and vote for Nidoking.

It is my destiny.

I purposely didn't vote for Wolf, since I'm fully confident he's already in development as the third DLC character. He MUST!

Just imagine it, three of the NES classics (Mario, Megaman, Castlevania), all in one game. (Also it would keep Konami a little afloat too)

I asked my friend at Gamestop today about it (waiting together to buy amiibo). I usually joke and say that I voted for Goku or Spongebob to get reactions,
but she then unironically stated that she voted for Sakurai as a playable character, and that his final smash should be "NONE FOR YOU, AMERICA!!" and causes your Wii U to crash.



She wasn't fishing for my reaction. I know this person too well.

I don't even play the Wii anymore so that's all good

I voted for Paper Mario.
I know, there'd be 3 Marios, but he'd have his own moveset with the hammer, like a solo Ice Climbers.

Plus, he already has a stage!

I don't know about you guys, but I voted for Tingle. Sure he's already an assist trophy, but I think he needs to be a playable character. It would be even more spectacular than his Hyrule Warriors appearance.

Definitely not going to happen, but I still voted anyway.

Honestly I'm not really sure how much voting is actually going to do. Even if a single character gets the majority of the votes, they're still going to require permission to even use the character. And that could get pricey on their end ...

I imagine they're probably going to ignore any votes for characters that are not first-party Nintendo property.

Haha I approve of Tingle! Better than yet another Mario or Pokemon character.

I threw in my vote for Viewtiful Joe.

Probably never gonna happen, but I figured Wolf was already getting in and he was my Proj. M main, and Snake's either already guaranteed in or out and my vote won't change that, so

Getting most votes doesn't guarantee a spot. Every vote is considered, but the number does add weight to them. Who knows, they might end up picking more than one.

Found something interesting doubt it will happen though xbox boss wouldn't mind seeing banjo in smash bros as DLC

So yeah, more DLC coming. I had a feeling that would happen, but Lucas isn't exactly my first choice. I have a friend who played him a lot in Brawl and is probably going to kick my ass with him. Still, I get Mewtwo for free in little less than two weeks. I'll also get the Mii costumes, mostly for X and Protoman, but who knows the others might grow on me.

I am afraid I might have to buy the DLC for 3DS and Wii U separately, because the 3DS is linked to my NNID and the Wii U to my brother's. The costumes on the 3DS isn't top priority. I might get them, because of X and Proto, but it's a must for Wii U. Way better than those lame-ass texture edits of the good old Stack Smash days.

I voted Tails as well, but for completely different reasons - specifically, the SSBM hoax and that he'd have five jumps.
