In terms of when you play with the customizations, I'm pretty sure there's a Customization toggle to turn them on and off. As to when they apply and when they don't, I have no idea, but I'm just as interested as you are.

We are now exactly one month from the Japanese release, and by proxy when we will officially learn the full roster. So close but still too far away!

Hey guys! Meta Knight!

i had great sex with my girlfriend
after we were done, i grabbed my phone to check Facebook and i was pleasantly surprised to see pictures of meta knight uploaded on the smash bros Facebook page

A few other pages were added to the Smash site.
It's nothing much, just telling us about Solo play, giving us the basic controls, and there's a stages page (it only shows, like, 8 of them)

I also noticed that the 3DS Stadium mode only has Mutli-Man Smash, Homerun Contest, and Target Blast.

No Break the Targets traditional, it seems.

Whoa, did you guys get a look at his hands? He's wearing metal gauntlets now. The armor on his feet has also improved in design, and in the Wii U version his armor actually has nicks in it; nice attention to detail!

Still, I'm a bit disappointed he wasn't kept as a secret unlockable character until release.

Also, it's super odd that they're doing a character reveal in the middle of the week. Up until now veterans have always been revealed on Fridays ... I wonder if there is some big update planned for this Friday that requires Meta Knight to already be revealed for?

You know, I'm not exactly surprised that meta knight made a comeback.

(I'm really hoping he's nerfed)

Maybe there will be another character to be confirmed on Friday. Who knows.

Someone pointed out to me that the nicks in MK's armor are only present in a couple images, suggesting that there may be some sort of battle damage feature going on:





It's possible of course that the images were merely taken at different points in development and that the nicks were added later. I don't know why they would bother including battle damage that is so hard to see under normal circumstances.

Do you guys still think were going to have a newcomer reveal i'm starting to have doubts now, oh well the roster looks great so far still praying for Ness.

Do you mean this week specifically or any time before release?

Sakurai has made it known that there is at least one more Newcomer intro video to be revealed, but when it could be shown is anybody's guess.

Why are you worried about Ness? He was unlockable in Brawl, he probably is in this, or like Captain Falcon(who only got shown a little while ago) there's no need to show him just yet. He's a super veteran, he's not going anywhere.
