Real quick without directly quoting anyone:

Dr. Mario doesn't have to be "majorly reworked"----Mario is already reworked as of Brawl. If Dr. Mario is a straight port from Melee he will already be different enough from Mario to be considered for a roster slot, as per Sakurai's own admissions of how he wants to handle clone characters.

This current leak with the screenshots and images is so far shaping up to be exactly what was predicted in the Ninka leak. There are conflicting sources here, but it looks like the Ninka leak also mentioned Mewtwo, Ridley, and Dixie Kong as being playable characters.

If the DLC is true, and I know it comes from a different source but it seems likely, then we're going to end up with most of the Brawl roster, and two of the Forbidden Five... Missing only Young Link (who has been reincarnated anyway), Roy, Pichu, Squirtle, and Ivysaur.

The proposed DLC might even be accelerated to on-disc content if that screenshot is legit. That would be neat.

People's reaction to the leaks

It was, and I will stand by that; it in no way looked like an e, and had a tail coming off of it. Just chalk it up to a spelling error.

That can be explained.

On Smashboards there is a member named MASTERLINK.
He and a few other users on the board had access to the pictures well before they were revealed last week.

Now MASTERLINK didn't want anybody losing jobs if these pictures ended up being leaked to the public, so he decided to tinker with the images to try and creature contradictions, he only managed to make a different Shulk render in different clothes and change the DISABLED to DISABLAD.

That's pretty much it.

I'll be surprised if Ridley gets in, but if he does then what's going to happen to the ridley in the metroid stage in the Wii U version.

it clearly says disblEd on the video. I don't think spelling erros would happen in what is a finished game, lol.

Isn't this guys super unreliable? I don't think the video's render and the image's render were different at all. One was bad quality the other one was better

The leak had reached such a boiling point that now I think I'm going to stop actively tracking info. I've got enough to sate me until release I think, so pics of the day and whatever info pops up in this thread should be enough for me.

At this point you have to be careful of fake leaks too. With a leak that is pretty much 99% true surfacing, little fake crap are going to sprout up to try and be a nuisance (chorus kids photo for example).


Before I go back to work though, I wanna say how impressed I am with the trophy count. Allegedly it is 680+.

Nothing.

If Ridley is playable, that shadow was playable Ridley being teased hard with intentionally misleading dialogue surrounding it.
