I know for a fact that the Ridley one is fake, the dude who posted it on YouTube posted on reddit on how he faked it
There's going to be a ton of "leaks" from now 'till the game comes out.
The Donkey Kong commuinty is going apeshit right now. Can't blame them.

Yeah, I was talking about the roster...
Look, I realize that the Metal Sonic thing proves that it's hard to make a believable leak on the fly, but what if the guy who originally discovered that leak had a little more time on his hands? Just saying...
I hate to be a Doubting Thomas, but I'm still not a hundred percent convinced of the Duck Hunt Dog leak. For a number of reasons.
First of all the person who posted it claimed a bunch of upcoming DLC content and then later admitted to making it up to mess with people. That honestly makes them pretty damn hard to trust, since who knows what else they could be showing us just to mess with us.
The biggest thing that's really been bothering me is that in the DHDog leak images, he is actually shown chosen for battle. If that is true, then it seems like there should be footage for the person to take snapshots of of him actually being on the battle field, yet we've seen nothing of the sort.
But the thing is, I'm not even necessarily saying that the person who took the snapshots faked it. I think there is actually a possibility it could be a fakeout from Sakurai's team themselves. Think about it, they must have known that the moment footage left their secure hands that there was a huge possibility of a leak occurring. Including a fake character in the roster video clips would be a great way to flag to themselves exactly where the leak originated from.
This might sound a lot like a conspiracy theory, but I am just saying I am not going to be convinced until I see some actual convincing images of the character actually participating in battle.

I see where you're coming from, but I doubt anyone would go through this much trouble. Not to mention a few days after we had a number of leaked images that, if I recall, matched up perfectly with some details in a PotD shown a day or two later.

I don't know, that seems like an awful much to do in order to flag people. I mean, I could understand if the leak came from someone out if NoA or something, but this came from ESBR. If there was anyone you wouldn't want to add extra shit to in order to keep tabs on who's leaking, it would be them. I mean, I don't think anything like this has even happened before.
More importantly, there's going to be a 3ds Nintendo Direct tomorrow? There's always the chance something could be revealed
Er, the DLC claim was from someone entirely else. In total, there were originally three leakers, two who leaked the images, and one who claimed DLC was a thing.

Wait, there's actually a DK community? And what are they going apeshit over? Dixie
maybe being in the game?
Besides Bowser Jr in a Koopa Clown car and a bunch of new character were confirmed in a text leak in June. And a bunch of other screens leaked that look exactly like the ones in recent Pics of the Day. I'm sorry but not believe the leak that has video evidence right now is straight up delusional because you don't like how the roster came along :/

"DK Vine" is actually a community that follows Donkey Kong and all of it's sister franchises (Banjo, Conker, Star Fox (don't ask), and other Rare games in which Banjo's goldfish cameos in.) And they really want K. Rool in the game.
I'm sure that the lone DK stage being a retro stage in the 3DS version also has something to do with their anger.

They must be going bananas at the lack of Dixie/K.rool
I'm a pretty big DK fan, but the past stage doesn't really bother me. Those Melee stages are some of my favorites.
I'm kind of annoyed about the Stage Recycling. Especially since most of the recycled stages were in Brawl too. I'd be a little less rotted if Kongo Jungle and Brinstar Depths were used instead of Jungle Japes and Brinstar.
I was hoping to see some revamped Smash Bros. 64 stages in the mix, since they're bringing back both Melee and Brawl stages rather than just stages from the last game.
I would love to see the Mario tower stage from Smash 64. That stage was so underrated.
