If there is a black and a white Yoshi, I hope they'll get a low-pitched voice and a high-pitched voice respectively.

Thanks. I never played SMRPG, so I assumed Boshi was some parody character similar to "Joshy" from Supra Mayro Kratt.

Now that I think about it, I've always wanted to know what the foot of a Yoshi looked like, similar to the diglet's full body fiasco. After all, the fuckers are BORN WITH THE BOOTS SOMEHOW. Little did I realize Boshi was just that all along.

Yoshi's 8 colors are probably whichever 8 colors are in Mario Kart 8. I don't even know which those are , haven't taken the time to look.

Something I just realized about the 8 costume limit is that certain characters will get the shaft when it comes to alternate color variety. Best example is Bowser Jr, who sacrifices color variety with alternate character variety, but that is a unique case.

Characters with two available genders will probably have that problem, like WFT and Robin having only four colors per gender.

The one who will get hurt the most by this is Wario, whose maximum number of colors will actually be reduced if he gets his two costumes split into 8 slots.

In terms of who will benefit from the 8 slots, I'm REALLY wanting to see what will be done with pac man, mega man, pit, dark pit, Pikachu and Jigglypuff. Also just about any character with NO alternate colors revealed yet (Peach comes to mind).


I'm still rooting for certain alternate colors too. Now that we have Dark Samus, I'm still hoping for a Hilda color for Zelda, but the slots are getting slim, and she sort of already has a "evil" color swap (black dress and white hair).

There should be nine Yoshi colors in Mario Kart 8:

Green, Red, Blue, Yellow, Light Blue, Pink, Black, White, and Orange.\

Nintendo is really fond of using Orange Yoshi since its debut in Super Mario Sunshine, and he's usually paired up with Purple Yoshi. So really we're going to get either Black and White or Purple and Orange. I really don't think Brown will be in since its last use was a cameo in Paper Mario, and Magenta hasn't been seen as an adult.

Although thinkiing about it now, an adult form of the glowing Yoshi from NSMBU might be cool.

Really, I just want all the Yoshi colors...

Yeah, after these past two weeks of pics of the day I am pretty convinced Sakurai is gettin back for the leaks. Sure, certain info on game modes is interesting, but there's been so many menu shots these two weeks. XD

It's looking more and more like there won't be anymore characters than what was in the leak.

o: A demo is being played? I vaguely remember it being said that there would be demos in Japan soon. Did that happen then?

Don't forget that the leak was connected with another earlier rumor, which surprisingly matched most of the things the leaked showed, as well as stuff shown officially.



So we might be getting Ridley, Mewtwo, Dixie and the Chorus Men.

Either that, or Sakurai is planning to lock most of the unlockables on the Japanese release until the international one is released.

Well the original Ninka poster said that they knew nothing about Dixie, Ridley, or Chorus Men.

It's always possible that some characters will remain hidden unless you purchase both copies of the game.
