Why do I feel like Sakurai told a particular guy to tweet to throw everyone off to just like, troll everyone who follows these character reveals lol

(didn't read through the topic, but a lot of people were talking about the creator of the Xenoblade series tweeting Sakurai's "character reveal this Monday!" tweet)



If it ends up being Rayman though, I really hope it's old Rayman for some reason with the obnoxious hair part and the big eyes

Well, this caught me off guard...

I do think it's a red herring though. He probably thought it'd be fun to spur a little controversy (more like stir up half of the internet) hours before the newcomer reveal.

Honestly, this guy seems to enjoy his job too much.

Sakurai loves his mind games. I'm pretty amazed to see Rayman here in trophy form. It would be pretty neat to see a Rayman Legends stage or music somewhere.

I remember this image making a few people here think of Rayman when it was first shown...
