I suggest that you stick with Archer.
Because the camoflauge move makes you invincible to all kinds of damage. And I do mean all kinds of damage.
Really? That's news to me!
For a good while, I actually thought that the only other ability that provides a similar kind of invulnerability to Stone is Leaf. The projectile capabilities of Archer already makes it bit of a cheap move, but after finding out this, it's safe to say that it's the most broken ability in the game! Take that, Leaf!
With this in mind, there's no way the camouflage ability works that well in
Kirby Fighters, right?
Got the last puzzle piece in Hotline Miami, solved the puzzle, and viewed the secret ending. It's not the best thing ever, but it's a more satisfying than the original one.
This is a very fun game to replay (more so than most games I play), so I'll probably continue trying to get all the achievements.
In the middle of Luigi's Mansion Dark Moon, just being Fire Emblem: Awakening, and played around with Donkey Kong Country Returns a bit.
Well I just beat BattleBlock Theater.
Before I had beaten it, I had already accidentally read that the ending wasn't happy. I also heard things like "the cats tried to kill Hatty" so I was pretty worried and very anxious to beat the game. So I marathoned the last 3 chapters or so this evening.
Up until it gets to the epilogue, it is suggested that things will end up okay and you'll be able to save him. Then, before the credits start (the boat scene) I was like "wtf" when he got randomly thrown off and then I wtf'd again at the credits music. I then wtf one more time when I see the after-credits scene.
I honestly do not know what to make of it. I think that flash of light was the evil powers leaving the hat, or some ungodly power emerging to save him? But then he's still at the bottom of the ocean, so I can't take it as a happy ending, nor as an especially sad ending. I DON'T KNOW ANYMORE

Nice! Cave Story is one of my favorite PC games. Unfortunately, I still haven't gotten the best ending though...
Finally finished Cthulhu Saves the World. It's a really fun and entertaining game, I don't know why I didn't finish it sooner.
I started Ace Attorney: Trials and Tribulations too, already done the first case.
I've also been playing player levels in VVVVVV, A New Dimension (by Souleye) was crazy hard at parts.
I'm giving Earthbound a spin for the first time in my life. It makes me wonder why I never played such a good RPG like this one sooner in my life.

I've been meaning to get into Cave Story again since my first run with it was a dishonest half-minute curiousity session back when it was first released as freeware.
What would be the best platform and iteration of the game, if anybody knows?

I don't know that much about the other versions, but from my knowledge, Cave Story Plus for the PC is
the way to play Cave Story. You can get it for $9.99 on Steam. Plus (no pun intended), I have Cave Story Plus, and it has all kinds of great bonuses that (from my knowledge) aren't available on the other versions (except for Curly Story, which I hear is a feature on the WiiWare version too).
So... The two ugliest miis I have got married and had a baby in Tomodachi Life.
I'll be posting an image soon. It is truly something terrifying.
Finally got aroumd to playing Tomodachi and... I like it. It's the kind of game you play when you just don't want to deal with a lot of responsibilty (in contrast to Animal Crossing); a good stress relief game. Wish I downloaded it instead of gettig it at the Best Buy sale (so it could be on my 3DS at all times).
Also finishing up Wind Waker HD (Wind Temple) and getting three stars for all the stages in NES Remix, the latter of which I'm sure will be absoute hell because of Ice Climbers and Clu Clu Land having such stiff-ass and clumsy controls. Thank god the sequel has better games.
I finally made some progress in the hard mode of Cave Story! I finally got past Monster X! It took me forever because I was originally trying to do a polar star only run, but I wasn't able to do that against Monster X...

For anybody interested in trying cave story, you can download the freeware version at cavestory.org.
I don't know if this is the kind of topic to bring this up, but since this occurred during my time playing Earthbound and everyone else is bringing up their own moments in gaming, I think sharing this experience wouldn't hurt, right?
While I was playing the game, I ran into a very frustrating glitch of sorts. I'm not sure if it exists in the actual game or it is only the emulator, but now I'm unable to use PSI Teleport. It started acting like this ever since I got Poo and I didn't know what started the glitch at first. After restoring a save state, I realized that I could teleport again and I shortly realized the source of the problem. As it turns out, after you get Poo in the party, you are not allowed to use goods and services that summon people to you (i.e. Mach Pizza, Escargo Express) or else you will never be able to teleport again (even if the people you summoned leave you). Prior to getting Poo, I was able to use the Escargo Express without any trouble happening to PSI Teleport afterwards, so I don't see why this would be a problem. Considering that this happened in Summers and I was on my way to Magnet Hill in Fourside, you could see why I wouldn't like this glitch at all.
Are you familiar with this glitch, or is it just me?
I have played that game many, many times and never encountered such a glitch.
