Actually I've seen TONS of pessimistic people saying that if we were to get Smash on Switch it would likely be nothing more than a direct port, so it's nice to have the confirmation that that's not the case.
But personally I am more interested in the use of the word "definitive" because it pushes the idea that the Switch version would get all the stages from both versions, which is all I care about. The 3DS got all the good stages ...
Those people are idiots then, but I guess confirmation is nice.
Personally a new Smash would be nice. I mean the Nintendo universe has expanded quite a bit as of late with Prime 4, Arms, Mario Odyssey, Breath of the Wild, Wooly World etc
- there's lots of new ideas and stuff out there to pull from. It would be a great shame for the Switch to be ignored and simply be a host to the Wii U's era of Nintendo...
I actually kind of want to see a link inspired by Breath of the Wild. It's actually not that infeasible to retain mostly the same moveset and just give it some BotW design.
Ooo, what if each alternate color gave him a different armor, sword and shield? I'd love that.
why is everyone claiming that e3 was bad???
seriously tho, new mario game, two metroid titles announced, pokken ported to switch, new main pkmn game(s?) for switch announced, dragon ball fighter Z, new crash bandicoot game, sonic forces and mania
like really...why bring out the "bad" parts of e3 when there was just as many "good" parts as usual? we live in a sad world, don't we
it's almost as if the "bad" parts are so blown out of proportion that they're actually "good" lol
I think it was more the lack of surprises.
Also... what new Crash game?
n sane trilogy i guess. i'm assuming that's a new game but not 100% sure..
it's not quite an e3 thing so...ignore that list i typed cuz i wasn't thinking clearly when i wrote it. >.>
maybe there wasn't any like twilight princess or smash bros. level of surprise but i'm pleased with what was showcased overall.
E3 2017 had the Devolver Digital presentation and 2 proper Metroid games announced. I am more than content.
But it did feel underwhelming overall, with how by the numbers it was, though that could also be my bias as a Nintendo fanboy.
I think Nintendo did great, lots of cool stuff there.
Microsoft - nothing.
Sony - everything we saw, we knew about. Last E3 they did they blew it away, was fantastic. Kinda shot there load a bit too soon. God of War could have been saved for this year really. Like, there was good stuff shown but just more of what we had seen before :/
really great discussion on the whole fiasco
The SNES mini comes with Star Fox 2. Jebus.
There's no way I'm missing out on the SNES mini this time just because of Starfox 2.
I ended up getting a massive boner the moment I found this out.
Sold out everywhere here except GAME - which as always has died under site traffic... balls...
Hope it's a standard ROM file so I can slap it on my Pi...
so...was starfox 2 ever finished? they wouldn't stupidly release an incomplete prototype...i don't think
Yeah it was finished, the final ROM has never been released before. Pretty surprising move by Nintendo really.
Playing through the Crash N'Sane Trilogy.
I looked on the trophy list and found out that the first game is getting DLC called "The Lost Treasures"
Guessing by the two trophies already there I'm guessing that they decided to make Stormy Ascent and Sunset Vista but had a hard time putting it elsewhere in the game and decided to make it DLC instead. Interesting.
