You're talking about the games based on Sonic Boom, right? In my opinion I'd say the show fared better than the games themselves.

Given the trailers around the internets why am I not shocked by this statement.

"Hey guys let's make a Arkham Asylum game but with talking animals and clever banter"
Like not a single piece of dialogue in those E3 trailers were remotely funny. ):

The 3DS Sonic Boom game looks decent, because it looks like it has more emphasis on platforming, and less on combat.

But the Wii U game looks like shit. It's like the Werehog levels of Unleashed, but in every single level, and even worse combat and gameplay than the Werehog.

The 3DS demo didn't exactly leave a positive impression for me. It looks good, don't get me wrong. It just felt boring and annoying as hell to play through.

The 3DS version looks alright. The Wii U game, though...

They actually did.
That picture's kind of bad for it but he has the terrible lanky proportions that Sonic has and his shoes and gloves are different.

He's not as drastic but he did get a redesign.

I just went from 3GB usable memory space to 1TB. Bye money, but I can finally have Mario Kart DLC and Wind Waker at the same time! And I no longer have to worry about the space for Stage Builder stages. I have so much space now, I think I can hear my data echo.

id like to see super princess peach series rebooted and reworked too
like maybe even set it up like

mario series - standard 2d and 3d platformers like NSMB/SM3DL/SMG
luigi series - mansion and maybe some other spooky themed games
toad series - small puzzle platformers
yoshi series - current gameplay with eggs and stuff
wario series - wario land gameplay. move warioware gameplay to rusty's real dea baseball or w/e

peach series:
would be nice to see SPM gameplay altered a bit for this
probably include rosalina as a second player (maybe work toads/lumas as a support?)
