I'll give Splatoon the fact that it looks exciting and has decent multiplayer, but I really wish Nintendo would stop cramming it down our throats like it's the CoD killer.
Sadly we can't kill CoD. People keep throwing money at it. ;__;
Well, I was not interested in the game when it was announced, but it looks more interesting the more is shown. It has gone from "not going to buy this" to "slight chance I might buy this in a whim if the price is right". It's still far from being a "must buy" for me.
I'll watch every Nintendo Direct regardless, but I'm especially going to watch this for DLC info, be it Mario Kart, Smash Bros or even something we won't expect.
Nintendo pretty much pulled the plug on a Super Mario 64 HD fan game. When was the last time they issued a cease and desist like that? :/

Uhh, I thought it was just an example done in Unity as a proof-of concept...like, it's purposely just the first level, to show how the engine they wrote works for 3D platformers. Not a full-fledged game, for obvious reasons
well, that's a bummer, C&Ding an tech demo.
I'd like to sue Nintendo for emotional damages caused by Yoshi's Touch & Go, but I'm not sure if that'd fly in a proper court of law.
Didn't they pull the plug on the Link's Awakening 3D thing? And well... every 3D and/or HD fan project ever?
Nah, the guy just stopped working on it because he got a life.
I actually emailed him a couple years ago and he told me he'd give me the source code and then kind of dropped off the face of the earth and stopped responding to my messages.
Maybe if a lot of people emailed him about it he'd release the source like he said he would
*shrug*
can't wait for the direct hnng, all I want is Mewtwos release date

The thought of this scares me more than anything else.
Look what happened to Rareware, would Nintendo really let themselves go down that same path?
So, Hypre Emblem is pretty fire.
Did anyone catch that bit of info on the Virtual Console from the direct?
Lots of good stuff in this Direct. My personal favorite tidbits were the Lucas reveal (and the confirmation that there will be more Smash characters in the future) and the fact that DK64 will soon be available on Wii U. FINALLY. I don't know how many times I've attempted to re-buy that stupid game only for the cartridge to be borked up. I've been waiting for this FOREVER.
Good Lord there was a lot of Fire Emblem.
I voted to have the Chorus Kids put in the game. (hyped for Lucas and Mewtwo btw)
ALSO I went to Gamestop and asked for empty PS3 cases awhile back, I just opened them and two of them were complete with the game and manual inside : O
I'm extremely excited for Fire Emblem If. Also I bought Mario 64 on Virtual Console tonight and I'm having a lot of fun. It's been a long time.
