I just finished One Punch Man the other weekend after having had it on my backburner for like forever. I absolutely love it, I might watch it again with other people because it made me laugh so much at some points.

Just finished Death Note, my god that was intense. Pretty good ending, it's kind of hard to know if I'm happy or sad at the outcome though
If you haven't seen it yet I'd highly recommend it, it's not super long (37 episodes) but the story and plot is extremely good.

Watched the latest episode of JoJo DIU. Felt a little uncomfortable from that bath scene with Kira and Hayato.

on my Dragon Ball kick, which usually happens once a year or so. it's just so good! and i'm talking about before Z. same plot as Z pretty much (an alien who tries to become the strongest warrior), but with more fleshed-out characters in general, like roshi, yamcha and chi-chi. it gives lots of background information about characters who don't appear as often in Z, and given that they're not villains or aliens, it's really entertaining to watch/read.
however, i do like Dragon Ball Kai in how it takes out most of the filler from the original and compresses the story to be more accurate to the manga - the voicework and soundtrack are stupendous as well. i found it odd that they utilized that old big band/orchestra sound from old television shows and anime, but it's still great music!

Been watching Jojo. I like Jojo. I'm a little way into the second story arc and it's pretty great. I feel it has a problem with under-developing characters, but it's overall really fun to watch.

I finished the first season of Stardust Crusaders yesterday. I didn't like it as much as Battle Tendency, but it was enjoyable enough, though a bit repetitive.

I'm almost finishing Jojo first seasons.
Started to Watch fate/Zero lately.
Also, not sure if it's posted here before or not. But a New YGO Appears.
Clearly after Arc-V, a new "Children Card Game on Hoverboards" anime.

the best part of this is that i know exactly what you're talking about
Spoiler:naruto and his buddy just finished fighting haku and zabuza didn't they
the first part of naruto (pre-shippuden) is actually really, really good. i sorta wish it just ended there instead of becoming a cash cow and literally DBZ, because naruto part 1 is literally kid-goku dragonball

Part 1 Naruto had like 90 filler episodes!!----
"Naruto Shippuden:
210 filler episodes of 485 total episodes.
43% of the Naruto Shippuden anime are filler episodes."
----oh yeah

close, but Spoiler:the part where sakura gets pummeled by the sound ninjas and decides to rip off her hair. for whatever reason that scene really REALLY spoke to me and now i'm more or less a huge sakura fangirl. and i'm super off put by all the hate towards her as a character. she may not be the main star, goodness forbid, but she has her own flaws and moments that make her a very formidable member of the cast.
but i digress, i didn't grow up with this series at all, because it was during a time where everyone called it "gay" (Spoiler:well i mean there's that kiss in episode three, so) and dragon ball z was supposedly better. while i'm probably not going to be a true fan of naruto as a franchise, i can wholeheartedly agree that there's a lot to appreciate about its beginnings.
and hell, the continuations of the series have gained an even bigger audience despite it being repetitive and stale. that's impressive if you ask me.
one more thing: Spoiler:also i agree! the first part with the bridge guy and everything was really exciting to watch! i really enjoyed watching the young ninjas test their newfound abilities and grow as people. i don't often come across an anime with such an energetic beginning chapter.

oh. whoops sorry x)
i assume you'd like JUST STARTED Naruto but you're more like halfway into the plot - like a lot has happened already. That very first part Spoiler:with Haku and Zabuza is like any other anime fight but the conclusion (and the amount of EMOTION they handled it with) is really what kept me drawn into the series even when my friends were like "wow naruto is dum" (actually, it's because "narutards" once they start talking about naruto, typically don't stop, i.e. "which of the three legendary sannin would win in a fight!!!!")
also rock lee might've had something to do with it because like ooohhhhhhh i think you've already gotten to his fight in that same arc, Dude Is Fuckin Insane Fam
