Use these however you want, if you want.
Yeah, that's exactly what I was talking about. ^^

Okay I edited what you did a bit for consistency with the stand sprite and put it on the sheet.
Do you want me to give you credit?
Quote:You know what would be cool? If you resprited Mega Man's Smash 4 moveset! We know the full thing basically.
I think this would be better to do with the Classic sprites.
Sure, though I think the changes you made look weird. So I'm going to try to explain it via animation.
- My Edit in the end.
- Your final version.
Having his arm be straight while crouching just looks weird. With it slightly bent, you can get the illusion his body is bending down despite only one shade.
The light blue piece of the left "his right" leg sorta pops around a bit, I can't put my finger on why it looks weird. Do you see what I mean?
Sorry about the delay
I tried bending the arm like you said, but I had to change some other parts a bit to make sure the bend looks smooth.
Better. Though one more thing will make it perfect. Remember how you did Mega's Left foot (our right) so that his knee would be in front of his body. You should do that.[/align]
While I like the revised Mega Man, he needs better contrast between the light and standard blues. At 1x view, it just looks like Mega Man is wearing a single-colored body suit.
Now it should be finished.
I'd make a 16-Bit version of the sheet, but I don't know if the size works well with my other sprites.

Honestly, I think I'd actually play the Megaman 7 and 8 Famicom remakes if they used sprites like yours
. I'm really tired of the same ones they used for the other six
.

Hey Neweegee, why not give that a shot? If you download Megaman 7 FC and look in the image folder, you can find all of Megaman's sprites in "rockman.png". You can just paste your sprites right in and it'll update in-game. All you'd need to add would be the rush adapter and Protoman's shield sprites for Megaman.
Hmm...but as for a generic Megaman, I don't think these would work. They'd work in a fangame (as I just said), but in a ROM hack the sprites are too tall to fit in 3 minitiles. If you bumped Megaman's height down a pixel, it'd be feasible to stick these in a ROM.

I started already.
I'll probably release the sheet mod in this thread if I finish it.
I feel like it'd look better if the sphere for his body sat on top of the feet, instead of inbetween them.
(to put it more simply, move the body and arms up)
D'awww.^^
Your style is very adorable. I like it!
