Captain Toad's arm has no anticipation frame in his ride animation. This makes his arm look like it's just flickering when he tells his mount to attack. You should add a frame of him holding it up.

Thanks for the info, Chris. I tried editing my run to look correct.
I've also made some more sprites.
And now I added all of the sprites and filled in the sheet.
It's a bit messy this time because of some extra sprites I added.
@Midi
I removed the blur effect, but I thought I should keep it 3 frames so it now looks like the animation from Super Mario World

Looks better. Also, love that vine whip. ^^ But when I first saw the razor leaf, I thought it was a morph ball. It doesn't look very leafy.

try animating the vine whip animation faster. motion blurs are supposed to be what they are: blurs. if it's not fast, then there really isnt any point to it :0
as for razor leaf, make it look less like a circle. more like this:

I don't see how that effects the sheet. Unless you're telling him to use less frames?

There is a lot of unnecessary empty space in the sheet, and the drop shadow is unneeded.

Yeah, the drop shadow IS a bit unnecessary. Your arrangement seems ok to me, though.
I agree on the Razor Leaf. It looks too much like a circle. Maybe thin it a few pixels if you want to keep that shape?

I thought the shadow drop would make the sheet more readable, but I removed it.
I'm not sure how I could rearrage the sheet though; some of the sprites and their animation frames connect like all the wrong Tetris blocks.
Also I remade the Razor Leaf and made it like the ones in the anime pic recme posted.
and changed the Vine Whip animation so hopefully the motion blur doesn't look weird anymore

I'm still working that tlieset

The vine whip is much better. Although I feel like on the animation where it throws out the razor leaf, the recoil on the bulb/flower thing is a bittoo much. You should make its movement smoother.

Both animations are way better!

I think I fixed it.
Also, forgot to point out that I added pulling!

Oh man, this is probably one of your best sheets yet! I think the idea of incorporating a Kirby inhale is pretty creative and should be incorporated into your future sheets. Stuff like that adds a little individuality to your sprites and sets them apart from other purely-Mario sheets. So really, not many complaints here! ...But I do think the win pose looks a little unsettling...you've given Ivysaur dexterous fingers (and an extra one at that!) which is reaaally pushing it, even for a cartoon character. Why not try a thumbs-up pose like this?
By the way, I noticed that a while ago you got a request to do Smeargle. Are you thinking of eventually doing that sheet? I might want to give one of these Super Mario Advance sheets a try myself.

I don't think the vine should be wavy and on the ground after the blur. It makes it look limp and weak. It should be held out straight forward, like the way the whip works in Castlevania. The wavy version could be used for him dragging the whip back, though that may make the anim too long.
