Some RPG crap... I probably won't continue working on this.

I think a little bit of swaying/movement in the skirt could benefit the overall look of the animation. It would make the legs look less frozen, at least. Otherwise, looks great. Kind of hypnotic if I watch it too long.

I'd darken her mouth a little so its more visible, it kind of disappears on the face, maybe use one of the darker mid-tones for the hair?

the tl;dr is I've been on and off spriting for the past year and a half and I can't just nail down a single project I want to consistently work on

Hey, don't worry! All of us go through those phases where we're bouncing between miniprojects until we settle on something. Just keep spriting and something'll come to you!

But if you'd like a suggestion, have you ever tried a retexturing project? Like a texture pack for a game or a graphical ROM hack? Personally, I find those easy to stick to.

I'm doing something here.

Doodled these two characters a few days ago, felt like spriting them. Big guy still has some tweaks I'd like to make (like the amazing foot-hand) but it was definitely fun to make.

The staff is supposed to have a ball of yarn on top; it isn't reading that way to me

if a fresh set of eyes could help me make that look like yarn, id appreciate it a lot

any other C&C are welcome as well

one could make a yarn ball by making it more 'cartoony', I'll edit it when I get some time

i like the character design however the coloring makes him too dark imo

Changed pretty much the entire palette and revamped the whole yarn ball and staff

Figured a giant needle might get the point across a little better, plus it seemed like a cool idea

think the yarn ball looks less like a head of lettuce now, but would still appreciate some pointers

The stippling and broken lines you did on Mother Brain's head to convey line thickness is incredible. I never knew you could pull off forms like that with only two colors. Props.

The glass tank might benefit from another color, though...Something to bridge that blue and white.
