I have no idea if you play any ps1 classic games but I have been trying to rip models from Spyro 2-3, all I can get are the models from the levels but thats using the Spyro world viewer, I wish it was easier to rip ps1 models, Have you ever ripped ps1 models? and (if you could/want) could you try ripping spyro 2-3 models they both have the same format
@Random Talking Bush
I saw your model importing scripts for 3ds max and I have 2 questions about them.
I particularly like these scripts! (
https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/2787...egaNO.html )
1. What version of 3DS Max should I use for them.
2. I noticed in particular that there were model import scripts for a few Sonic & SEGA games, but there are a few games that you have ripped from that do not have model import scripts and I am curious if we will ever get model import scripts from the following games:
- Sonic and All-Stars Racing Transformed (PC/Steam)
- Sonic Generations (PC/Steam)
- Sonic Lost World (Wii U)
- Sonic Unleashed (Xbox 360)
- Mario & Sonic at the Sochi 2014 Olympic Games (Wii U)

Eventually, yeah.

I have not, and I don't think I will. Sorry.

I have never ripped PS1 models, so I wouldn't know the first thing about that unfortunately.

1. Anything but 2015-2016, apparently some MaxScripts have issues for 'em.
2. The one model I ripped of Ralph from Sonic and All-Stars Racing Transformed was pretty much manually ripped, my script for that isn't in any usable condition just yet. Eventually I'll fix it up to work with other characters without inputting a bunch of manual offsets. Sonic Generations and Unleashed do have a model-importing script,
linked to near the bottom of this post on Sonic Retro. The models I ripped from Lost World were using a modified version of that script which actually doesn't work with everything, but there's
a separate program made more recently in this Sonic Retro topic that can be used to convert the models to the FBX format with rigging -- modelfbx. And finally, Mario & Sonic's using the BFRES model format, but you need to use
this QuickBMS script to decompress the files first, then you can use
the BFRES importer script to import them as normal.

Ok, thank you very much!
By the way when I try to use the max script for the time eater (perfect) final boss models or the perfect chaos models from sonic generations it always gives me an error and I get nothing. Do you know why? [Actually I was able to partially rip some the perfect chaos models but they was missing some parts, but I still can't open the time eater (perfect) final boss models]
The model files are located at:
Time Eater (perfect) final boss models -
Perfect Chaos boss models -
Do you think that you could help me find a way to successfully rip them?
Hey there, I saw some guy ask if you were going to do Noire/Black heart, and various other Neptunia rebirth 1 characters, and you replied you will, it's on your to-do list, don't worry. Welp. I've been waiting paitently, and I'm grateful for all that you've done at all, so I'm not upset at any delays so much as just... concerned... are there technical snags or something regarding the rest? I ask because you seemed to be ripping those models in fairly rapid succession, and now a few months have passed regarding neptunia rebirth.
I've never tried making a model before, but I told myself I'll try to make Black heart my first MMD model (using your rip if you're not opposed to that, of course I'll credit you if I ever release anything), but maybe I should start on another one if there are issues with her. (I want to do noire more but I imagine she'll be harder for a newbie like myself since she has more complicated clothing to rig)
Random Talking bush
I love what you are doing!
Also good work

Okay. The reason I asked was because I'm having trouble extracting .bin files from Beyond Good & Evil and I believe that they have 3D Models & Textures inside.
Looking good, RTB! Keep up the
fabulous work! You're a very important member of the community, well to me at least
.
Hey, I hate to seem like I'm trying to rush a good thing, but I had a project coming up that I'd like to use a Splatoon model for, specifically DJ Octavio. Any chance you could put him up some point in the near future?
RTB, shouldn't all of the Smash Wii U models have bones? I'm just asking because I was concerned about them.
no, we don't rig the models here with bones at TMR because the bones tend to break, causing a lot of pain to us, and the model, We end up having to wrap it up in a nice little cast and waiting two to three months in order to those bones to heal.

I see. Thank you for answering that.
Hyperdimension War Neptunia VS Sega Hard Girls: Dream Fusion Special:
Hooray for Vita ripping!... and that title's quite a mouthful. It'll probably get a not-quite-as-long-winded one if-and-when it's translated. I'll have the other half of the new characters and a handful of other things next update.
