I really wouldn't know. My guess is that they're just different formats, even if they have the same extension.

well thanks for your help, but what causes audio to become unplayable?
As I've said before, I haven't actually written any of the conversion code so, I don't know.

ok....But why does it work on VGSC 2.0 but loops with music, but takes over 30 days to complete one voice audio?
Nothing should take 30 days, I don't think the program could even handle a file that would take that long. I'm really confused with what you're trying to say.

the process is so slow it even for 3 days its still not completed instead being a 1gb .wav file

I managed to get the PS3 version's audio but oddly It gives an error message and its also a .wav file
Again, I can't do much about these sort of problems. If something doesn't work you'll just have to find another way.

Any Ideas? I tried importing raw data the Wii version was distorted but the PS3's version was less noisy but was sped up.
Can you please make a different thread for this? I don't want to clog up this thread and it will probably help other people see your problem, since I can't really help.
Hello! Since this is the most recent thread I found on this, I imagine I should be reporting this here.

To put it bluntly: The program doesn't work for me. Not just the final version -- any version. Here's what happens:

Basically, I ask it to convert "SWAV_0.swav", which is within the range of supported files; It doesn't work. It asks me where the file is and where I want the converted files saved to, and it does nothing. I tried opening another file and, since I dunno if can help, I'll post what I got anyway:

My system is Windows 7 64-bits.
Weird. The first one simply seems to not be compatible, which is possible since extensions don't mean all that much, especially with video game formats. So you may just be out of luck, sorry.

Not sure what went wrong with the second one though. How are you opening that?
As I suspected, it didn't work for me (I'm cursed). everything goes well until, but it doesn't show the 'processing' (if you will) it just goes straight from "select the folder you want the file to export to" to "DONE." and nothing's been converted. No file at all in the destination folder.
That's strange. It should at least tell you that it can't convert the files. Are you sure you're using it properly?
From what I can tell, it seems so. I have quick screen shots here:

When I first open the VGSC.exe
[attachment=8427]
I select a file called "Tv.idsp" then this appears:
[attachment=8428]

Press "Okay" and then this:
[attachment=8429]

I think I've followed the instructions well, but maybe I haven't?
Am I missing files? Do certain .dll have to be put into another directory?

(Sorry for the poor quality screen shots)
