FFII NES Revamped Firion:

Seems like the shading is just one pixel wide. You might want to make it more noticeable, eh?

Also, would you mind if you could actually embed you image into this topic? That ay we don't have to bother ourselves with a link just to see what you have created.

Rystar: What do you mean? It's a small sprite. Do you mean that you want the top level of shading to be more noticeable than the middle one?

Oops I forgot to mention that I did some bonus sprites for fun. It was in the former deviantart description but I forgot to repost it.

I think what Rystar is referring to with the shading is that it's just a single line running along the outline of each section. That's something called banding, and it makes the sprites look beveled, like a button. A good idea would be to draw a line that follows the contour of the shape, then shade everything on one side. The same goes for the highlights, except that they should be smaller, unless there's a light source up against the sprite, like when Kirby uses his light ability, then you make the lit parts bigger and the dark parts smaller.
