Hello I'm new to VGr, I was trying to dump my rom of alpha shappire to help this thread, but sadly I've learned that without a Gateway card there is no other option, I've searched everywhere for the xorpads even in the darknet but it seems that there is really no one that wants to share them, the only thing I was able to do was getting the nnchinfo aaaand I'm stuck there...
So I wanted to know, is there really no other way to obtain the xorpads other than with GW card?
P.S. Sorry to bother with things that have been asked so many times
P.P.S. I wanted to request Nincada, Chingling, Exploud

to be honest... a few months ago I was just like as desperated as you... but I finally solved the problem. Pay attention, because it may be helpful.
First... about Gateway, normally on first versions... it required a Nintendo 3DS with certain Firmware... commonly it was from version 4.1 to 4.5, Any higher version wasn't supported... but a month ago... an update was released... and it has particularly a support from 4.1 to 9.2 if your Nintendo 3DS is between 4.1 and 9.2 you can use Gateway with it... if your nintendo 3DS is 9.3 or higher... then sorry, you can't try the gateway method.
Second... You don't have to search for the Xorpad to rip the models from the roms of pokemon... RTB already posted a link weeks ago... that includes all the models ripped and ready to be imported via 3DS max script, not just only Pokemon, but also NPCs and other stuff... All of them from both X/Y and OR/AS, Here's the link.

I hope this helped on your situation. I tried to use it to make a full ripping of Swalot using OhanaXY, but it seemed like it lacked the Skin Weights and the textures came separated from the model itself, so you just had to download the textures as well and put it into your model.
Textures are included in the link as well.
so if you want to make a ripping of the models fully rigged or at least almost fully rigged. then use the 3DS max script included on the link on his first post of this topic. and good luck.
I have all I need for a submission except the alpha maps. How would I go about getting those?

No idea, but if that's all that is missing you could just release it and update it or let someone else update it later when you find out. =P
Did you try Ohana to see if you could find the alphas there?

Hi all I've started editing some models, and as expected I've found some textures problems, while i was fixing them i found a little something on the textures that seems impossible to fix.
Does anyone here know a fix or something for this little but really annoying problem?
The problem is in the poligons, but I can't figure out how to fix this, any tips?

Did you check the UV mapping? Because that's what this looks like to me =/
Worst case scenario you'll have to redo the wings which isn't too bad since it's a really simple shape.

I've already tried fixing the UV mapping, but the poligons were all screwed up
so I tried everything I could and that little problem is almost gone

I'm guessing that various simple and flat polygons easily end up with similar issues with all models that have them due to conversion =/ So if it's transparent in-game like Nincada's wings, Yanma's, Ninjask's etc.: It'll probably have that. Hope you get it looking right =)

Well if you want to check it out I've uploaded Nincada, It's in queue for approval
As Soon as it pops out tell me if the rig is good enough or not
UPDATE: Looks like I've missed something under the neck the texture are still messed up but nothing unfixable.
I thought I had all I needed for a submission until I tried to export an FBX from maya and it had no option to do so. I have the right plugins and I have said plugin loaded, but it still refuses to show the option for it and I've driven myself half insane trying to make it work to no avail.

Ok... at least you managed to find out a way to fix the texture problem... some kind of tidbit I don't really know.
(Perhaps if I would know how did you fixed that, perhaps I would give it a shot to a model of Sadaharu that I ripped months ago with Ninja Ripper from a Wii ISO called "
Gintama: Yorozuya Chuubu", Sigh
...)
Anyway... I think I owe you a little explanation, I forgot to mention that the 3DS Max Script still have some little problems... maybe a few models will appear screwed up like happened to Nincada (Even has been reported even rigging problems on models like Nidoking, but nothing to worry about, I never had those problems when doing animations on Cinema 4D), and yet I dunno if RTB has fixed a problem he had to Spinda model... Considering as we already know, that Spinda skin patter is randomized depending on it's PID. (So probably that Spinda don't have even a texture by itself)
and after sooooo much pressure from many ppl asking for the source code of the script, it seemed that RTB has quit on updating the script... Sorry for not mentioning that... but I don't really know exactly what happened there, becuz when I readed the RTB's post... I was feeling so depressive that even I believed that Pokemon X/Y would be cancelled. Gosh...
Those -Censored- for brains... At least I'm glad some of them were banned.

Well that sucks :/ I fixed that by re-building the messed up poligons, then all you need to do is apply the textures, the only problem so far is that, this fix is kept only in C4D format, because when I tried to export into an FBX the UVs reset themselves.
Plus, now I'm editing Ninjask, usually I make the rigs myself, so they are easier to pose, but this time I used the rig I found into the SMD format for the model, I had to bind all the bones from scratches.
And now I need to create some sliders for a set of wings to scale them, now I'm really desperate for some help :'(

About requests i have to thank about the Weavile you posted on January and also Charmander and Chesnaught, but i'm still needing #418 Buizel and #503 Samurott from my 3 request with a certain needing on Buizel (Also with an preference on your models, as they're smoother).
Hi, did you ever upload the ripped Jigglypuff model you posted a screenshot of back in October? I'd love to have it!
