The Ashley's Song remix is actually in both the US and European versions too, so it's not that. But there's the Japanese character and stage name/logo images. Unfortunately I don't have those just yet, and I actually still need to get the other languages properly extracted, too.

I don't have anything to say about it right now, I don't have either game's files handy so I can't say yes or no yet.

They're not missing, we don't accept music on The Sounds Resource for legal reasons. This has been mentioned dozens of times already.
