I was kind of surprised to see that the main characters actually talk. I'm not at all used to that.

Ninten and Ness talked. Sure, it may have been to themselves, but talking nonetheless.
They don't talk when you play as them, but as an NPC they do.
I heard about it, but my EZ 3in1 broke :'(
I think I'm terribly underleveled. I'm at Fire Mountain, and during battles I usually just squeeze through. Then when boss battles come (Like New Fassad), I need to think up a stratagy and usually die because of lack of PP.
I think the only thing that saved me from the Mechanical Gorrilla Fight was one of the Maygypsy's Mementos.
(Someone really does need to defeat Porky Statue without the New Years Day Bomb using those Mementos, a shitload of items, and enough patience to sit through it all)
All I can say, so far, of this translation:

I like the fact they kept the profanities.
I'm done with 1 1/2 chapters and I still don't have any of the main char's. ARGH. D;
