Gah, I made a pretty big oversight in my script that caused it to skip whole animations!
It was the first thing I worked on, so it's not too surprising I forgot about it when it can down to everything.
Now animations are ripped (I believe) 100% accurately! Well, most will be.
A new issue that arose was, in the enemies' sprites, the info and images aren't together like the playable characters, and I don't really have a way to get the right one aside from manually looking at each file, and there are over 800 files...
I have a workaround that seems to work for the most part, but it will take some manual labor for some. Eh, I wish I had more time to work on this :\
Maybe a ripping project?

Flipping yes.
Question: do you think that tinke can recognize the DAT files for Dream team?
I have an idea but I want to make sure.
Sorry for double post, but from what I gathered using tinke to rip from the DAT wouldn't work.
They're the usual encryption but this is REALLY Bizarre.
I haven't digged though the whole rom And I dunno if Tinke can view the New formats in there,
But this is WEIRD
I assume it's something more going on but It's Just....It's....I never seen anything like it.
Nintendo stepped up their game.

The DAT files are just containers for images and their information.
You need the code.bin to read the DAT, then you need the info for the image to put them together.
All Mario & Luigi games handle graphics that way.
Do you have those files?
I'd love to have those suckers.
The files I have only appear to be DAT files and New ones, although it's mainly DAT.
If I can have those bin files, I might figure something out.
Take this with as much salt as you want but I think I'm on to something.
Er, I believe I can already extract all the images correctly.
Whenever I get everything ready, I'll just upload the ripped sprites, and people could work on sheeting them, like the BIS thread.
I normally wouldn't mind to sheet them myself, but there are just too many.
Every sprite seems to come out fine now!
The only ones with issues are ones that require a bigger space than 128x128(the canvas size).
I can just manually adjust those.
I just found another thing missing in my code that might have effected some of the Mario and Luigi sprites...
I guess it wouldn't hurt to rerip them just in case.
Ploaj, you are a GOD. I could kiss you right now.
Why do you only have 42 rep? YOU NEED A HUNDRED MY FREIND.
I wanna help if I can.
Have you gotten Antasma and Popple yet? If you could, could you send them to me? I've been after those sprites for a while, lol.
Love the work you're doing here, I wish I could be of more help.
You know, on the subject of helping....
I call dreamy bowser.
Is that alright?
Well This is interesting.
I looked in the folder called "Battle", which led to "BtlEnc", which led to files with the BtlEnc name in front of every single one of them.
What happened next was....Interesting, to say the least.
I opened Tinke and Clicked on the file.
Opened the file up pallete first,
Made it a bright pallete so I could see the thing,
And THIS Is what greeted my eyes.
Uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.

What's Hilarious is that When you look REALLY Closely you can see the Hammer XD
This is ridiculous.
All I see are white and black pixels...
I think the reason is Because (Well I dunno about this) But the pallete may not be in there.
Or the hammer could be a 3d model. But I doubt that.
I might need the Code.bin, But haven't the foggiest idea WHERE that is.
This will be a project.
Good Luck to me I guess?
What are you looking for exactly?
I've been trying to come up with the best, and fastest, way to sheet everything, and I think I got it!
I did another big renovation on my animation ripping script. It looks so different now...
Anyway, I made a sort of hacky way to detect the max frame sizes needed.
So that way I don't have to trim 128x128 canvas' down.
Then I thought, why not expand it even more?
So now, it will auto sheet them!
Well, it works great on the enemy battle sprites... Not too sure about the mario bros.
Should be a god send for map sprites.
Auto-sheeted:
Needs a bit more touch up, probably. Looks like the canvas is still a tad large, but hey, this is a lot faster than manually sheeting them!
As Far as looking for things, Antasma Most likely.
but wow! Auto Sheeting.
YOU ARE A GOD.
But Man, I'm REALLY Looking for antasma.
REALLY BAD.
