The thighs look a bit too long in the walking animation, and I think that's part of the reason why he looks like he's slouching. Also, the distance the foot moves forward from the center of gravity should be roughly equal to how far back it goes at that speed.
I love how the gun looks when it's empty. Nice attention to detail. The lighting from the gunfire seems pretty accurate, too.
I feel like the shoulder and the rest of the arm should move just a tad bit for the gunshot recoil.
UPDATE:
- Since spoiler tags are working, I updated the first post
- Added a new animation (W.I.P.)

You mean I should add more recoil (like moving the shoulders a pixel to the left)? If so, it would show that a gun shot has too much recoil - would work for a magnum though. If you mean that I simply have to animate the shoulders without moving them to the side...you're probabbly right and I'll change that sometime soon.

Yeah, well I'm still not happy with that animation :/...It looks a bit sloppy to me

Does some one know a simple program to make plattformers? Something like the RPG Maker but for a plattformer lile Castlevania. Currently I stick to Unity...but I'd like to see a more simple program
Spoilers or not, could you put the new sprites in the newest post? When I click on "go to last post" and then see I have to load another page just to see the update, it's kind of disappointing.
Sorry, didn't think about that.
This should be the one. It's a very simple one and a HUGE W.I.P. (I'll add the reload animation to this one too)
EDIT: I'm an idiot... I uploaded the wrong file...
THIS is the right one
The one above is the older animation
