I still don't understand, to be honest.

Neither do I... I've played plenty of games where wheel-powers are pretty awesome.

First of all I hate sonic with every sub-atomic particle of my being.
Anyway, I don't HATE wheel, but they could have chose something like Yoyo or Suplex or something like that.
I found it weird they went for wheel when I don't think that much people even like wheel.

That's a lot of hate you're expressing man. Personally, I sell a dang shirt based around sonic and love the wheel ability because its usually there to set up for an epic combo of sorts.

F*ck you wheel is awesome and you don't know what you're talking about.

Literally the only flaw the Wheel ability has is that in most games its moveset is limited to only a single move even when other abilities have an entire palette of skills available to them, but even in those cases it still manages to be extremely versatile. It's fast, it can go through any type of enemy even the ones that are invincible in other circumstances, allows you to travel over water quickly, is super useful in speed-based puzzles where it's often a necessity, and in the games after Super Star where you can jump makes it all the more versatile for traveling over literally any sort of terrain. And let us not forget it's usefulness when speed-running.

And your complaint about its existence in Triple Deluxe honestly doesn't make sense. Not only is it a beloved classic ability that should have shown up earlier, but it was powered up considerably for this appearance, including a new downward slam attack, the ability to do rapid damage while "parked", and a speed boosting move that also allows you to launch yourself spiraling through the air violently. If there is ANY complaint about this it should be that it didn't show up earlier in the Wii title, where it was cut to make the game more co-op friendly.

In conclusion:

You know what? I always liked the mic ability.

Well anyway, reason I think wheel is ALRIGHT key word there, is alright because while you are also invincible, when you turn you lose frames and can get hurt.
Wheel also has this pointless move where you slow down. You aren't invincible and who wants to go slow???
I like wheel, but it's not my favorite.
Now that I think about it, wheel fits perfectly in triple deluxe.
I still hate sonic.

I've always been a fan of Backdrop/Suplex Kirby.



It's just so fun to throw and piledrive foes into the ground.  Plus you're invincible for a time while grappling.  Also Suplex's Quick Stamping is great to spam on foes.

I hate sonic because after sonic 06 he became a steaming pile of shit that smells of failure and tears.

Sonic boom looks alright, but a LIVE.ACTION.C.G.I.MOVIE. of sanic is the killing point. he WILL die off and no one will miss him.

Actually, no, that's not true.

Daytime Sonic Unleashed and Generations was actually pretty fun.
