Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS.
I saw someone rip the Mega Man models, but never actually released. I have the game, I just don't know how to rip models.
Well as a result, your 3DS firmware is probably too high to do so. Only versions 4.1 - 4.5 can be used for decrypthing data, which were made in 2012.
By any chance do you have pics of this person's rips, or have some form of proof? A link to the supposed rip showcase would be nice.
There's only one person who's got the knowledge to rip 3DS models here, I'm surprised you didn't put two-and-two together.

I should've guessed Captain Falcon would know how to read 3D file formats
Is there anything Captain Falcon can't do?
The model I've seen ripped is Mega Man's low and high poly.
