Professor Layton has a movie, which is pretty awesome. There's a gag manga so an anime would be a possibility. Not sure whether it'd be better as short separate adventures or mysteries that span over multiple episodes.
Also Phoenix Wright would be interesting to see. It wouldn't have to be murder cases every episode, unless they made it 1-hour episodes and short seasons, kind of like Doctor Who. Or maybe stuff that isn't even cases, just Phoenix and Maya going on random adventures or something.
Hey guys what do you think about a Starfox Cartoon?
it has potential and its never been done before same for the Metroid series i feel the Metroid cartoon would be more in the 14 + section though. Since there is Scifi battles in eerie laboratory facilities like Metroid fusion for example.
I can see a cheesy 90s style starfox cartoon and I'd be okay with that.
another kirby anime would be cool. except that it should be based on the crew from kdl3/k64 rather than tiff and toff.
a zelda anime based off the mangas wouldnt be too shabby, either.
Anyone remember those cutscenes from Mario Power Tennis and Mario Golf: Toadstool Tour?
A new CGI Mario cartoon in the style of those would be hella tight. They could do what they did for the new Pikmin cartoons and make seven-minute shorts out of it.

I've been thinking the same thing, especially how the in-game graphics of the Wii U Mario games look just like a CGI movie.
I would love to see them make a new Mario TV series, but CGI and in the style of the cutscenes from the Gamecube Mario games. And also, there should be little to no dialogue.

Oh yeah, I remember those! I wish there could be cartoons like those, but things like Sonic Boom and Ghostly Adventures kinda scare me out of wanting one.
Wait, I wanna know something.
Does the CGI cartoon of Sonic Boom suck ass?
I don't have Cartoon Network so I can't see it but I wanna know.
Wouldn't be surprised it wouldn't be good, but I'm just curious.
I don't know if this is the majority opinion, but some people (myself included) find Sonic Boom enjoyable so far.
I haven't seen Sonic Boom myself, but I'm still not happy with the "overhaul", which shouldn't really matter, since I'm not the market they're going for.
I thought of something for Mario how about a Paper Mario art style based cartoon, all the games are awesome and have humor, and awesome level designs, which would fit right into the cartoon.
I've always kind of wanted a Mario anime that adapted the franchise pretty closely in story arcs or seasons... Eh, I'll just go ahead and outline what I would like to see/do for a Mario anime:
Story Arcs:
Mario Bros./Super Mario Bros./Super Mario Bros. 2
Super Mario Bros. USA
Super Mario World (mixed with Yoshi's Island)
Super Mario Land/Super Mario Land 2
Super Mario RPG
Super Mario 64
Mario Kart (microarc)
Paper Mario
Super Mario Sunshine
Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door (Luigi's adventures featured post-credits in the form of narrated sequences... Luigi reading a letter to Mario in his own words, but the events as they really happened playing visually)
Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga
Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time
Super Paper Mario
Super Mario Galaxy/Galaxy 2
New Super Mario Bros. (merge all four games, so Nabbit debuts here)
Mario Party (features the Millenium Star)
Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story
Paper Mario: Sticker Star
Super Mario 3D World
Mario & Luigi: Dream Team
Related Movies/OVAs:
Donkey Kong/Donkey Kong Junior
Yoshi's Island
Luigi's Mansion
Super Princess Peach

^ Quality anime.
There's also a Bomberman B-Daman Bakugaiden series (along with a sequel series, V/Victory) based off the Japan-only SNES game.

And to that I say: Spyro.
Also this.
As for me, I really want a BattleBlock Theater anime or cartoon, especially after seeing artwork like
this.
i dont watch cartoons
i want a live action Mario movie/miniseries with the Mercedes Benz actors

i dont know remember what happened the last time they made a live action mario. i just don't think that live action could capture that odd combination fun campiness and serious overtones the series is known for.
now a live action legend of zelda based on orcarina of time i would go see that. only problum is finding an actor able to do a convincing link since its a non speaking role and requires expert sword skills
