Wow, Google Play needs some serious quality control. That goes the same with Steam and APP Store as well, because it's just embarrassing.
There's also this gem.
What in the living hell am I looking at? Besides the photoshopped Shrek faces.
"Special Edition
The Great Party
Chocoshrek: The Ogre of the People"
I don't have a picture, but my parents bought me three Pokemon toys from the mall one day, a Nidoran Male, a Croconaw, and a Chingling. After looking the toys up, I found out they were bootlegs. Should have known, the Nidoran looks deformed, the Croconaw's poorly painted and its face looks wrong, and the Chingling appears to be in finger puppet form. There's some worse Pokemon bootleg toys out there, though.
Is Vegeta wearing a Superman crest? LMAO
oh
since we're using app store games now, I remember this one game, "Summoner's Alliance". The game's characters in this free-to-play basically speak for themselves.
There's a particular MOBA out there which anyone who plays will recognize these characters immediately. and apparently so did Riot, because less than a week after it appeared on the Play Store, it pretty much vanished from the Internet 8-D
...like they didn't even TRY to make the characters look more original like as seen above, they pretty much drew fanart and slapped it into the game lmao
what's worse is that the art isn't even half bad and yet effort is spent to make bootlegs
The art looks very Maple Story ish in the last one, and the one with Super Vegeta looks nice and colorful, and well drawn, but damn. Why not use these talents for something original, instead of fangame stuff and copyright infringement? Talent like that would easily catch people's attention with screenies, because everything pops out well.
Sometimes the best way to get the stuff is through bootlegs. We're not going to get a Lego
Thing or
Punisher anytime soon. But they're there if you want a non-official ones.
