I sit down to think about what to do. I can tell everyone got transported to the same room as Zadaben sticks out so easily with his glow, and Shade is now near him, but why it the room dark?
Are there walls?
Is there maybe a lightswitch?
I decide I will stay near Zabaden to map out our surroundings mentally, until I can put the pen to good use at least.
>Walks over to the area where Zabaden is. Puts stuff in hat for now (Unless there's a 25c gumball machine?
idk).
recme attempts to open the pen, to see if there is like, paper and shit in there. a map would be cool.
I try to sniff out my surroundings to figure out what all is in the room. As a mushroom tortoise, I'm pretty used to the dark.
At my age it's it's too dark to see with my poor vision. I try feeling around with my cane only to find out it's a pen instead!
Shade:
5 Perfect (You see the light from Zadaben so well, you can make out the room perfectly clear. Zadaben is engulfed by a shadow cloud in the center of the room that absorbs 99% of his light. Everyone is in a circular room and can't see quite as well as you. Hmm? What's that on the ground? You see a square object sticking out of the ground, 8 of em in fact. I wonder what they' re for...)
Virt:
4 Success (You rapidly click the pen and it transforms into a Pulse Generator! You can hear the others getting irritated but notice something else... The clicking noises you made were absorbed by the walls. Are the walls soft or something? Who cares. You have a Pulse Generator!)
Zadaben:
2 Fail (You try to transform your innocous double pen into a phaser but fail. That sucks...)
Kat:
6 Extreme (You sit and think so hard you get a headache [-5HP]. You see Zadaben, but the shadow cloud prevents you from getting closer... you also see square objects potruding from the ground. You make them out to be switches. You also find a bomb.)
Quirby64:
5 Perfect (Just as you begin walking towards Zadaben, you bump into an enormous gumball machine! You insert 25¢ and it gives you 5 pieces. You lick one and it tastes of sweety goodness. You swallow one and you turn into Gumball Quirby!!)
Recme:
2 Fail (You attempt to open it but it breaks. There's writing on the inside but you barely make it out.
"Pulse Generator 2.0". Oh well.)
Sportoise:
2 Fail (You begin sniffing but you sneeze... HARD. Your senses are disturbed. Looks like you'll have a hard time smelling anything now.)
Koopaul:
1 Epic Fail (You try feeling around with your cane only to find out it's a pen! You fall down [-10HP] and the pen breaks!)

(You put the results of the rolls in the Player stats section)
Somehow knowing that it's called a Pulse Generator, I wonder about what a Pulse Generator is.
"Confound it! What's going on here?!" I yell outloud as I try to get up off the floor.

Fixed. Sorry guys.
P.s. A pulse generator generates... pulses, of different frequencies (sound) that are capable of short circuiting electronics and breaking stuff.

(I know I'm not part of the RP here, but I believe the words you're looking for is "EMP Generator" [
Electro
magnetic
pulse]. There's real-world wartime weapons that actually serve this purpose [shorting electronics within a given radius] and they operate on a much larger scale, but it seems that Virt has a tiny handheld one in this RP)
After hearing Koopaul fall, I make a beeline towards him.
"Hop on, you old coot"
I can see the border, a circular room, but it's tough to see what the border is exactly. This doesn't seem like normal darkness, my very perception seems altered beyond my vision. I feel the darkness in the air, engulfing me.
"HELP, HOLY SHI-"
I can at least see everybody else, now. Kat seems to be somewhat interested in those objects on the ground. I'll go investigate them, maybe meet up with him and try to figure everything out.
Oh, Koopaul's on the floor, too. Huh.
I get up to look at the switches, there is a few of them so whatever they do they must do something.
However I'm also holding a bomb now, there doesn't seem to be any timer or anything on it from what I can gather, definitely not a typical movie bomb.
I have a feeling one, if not more of these switches have to do with the bomb, particularly since I found the bomb right by them.
I decide it's not worth the risk.
I notice Shade is making his way here, I will currently wait here to warn him to leave the switches alone. At least until I can figure more out about the bomb.
Oh shucks everyone's going to have pulse generators besides recme.
I switch into pulse-proof mode to avoid plot holes and potential damage.
