Is it supposed to be a tornado?

For a tornado, the inner parts are shaded correctly, but the edges are acting more like flame. Maybe a little left to right motion too, but this is awesome.

It's kinda like a combo between tornado and flame...

I think the problem with mine is it's way too random.
