That's pretty good, I'd suggest removing the little crinkle on the toe of her left/our right sock and just have the form curve straight down and meet her toes. Have you checked out photos of socks on feet (probably looser ones, going by the style you have here)? I'm sure that's obvious at this point, but just wanted to point it out. 'v'

Nah I didn't look at any sock references for some reason. The first thing I thought to do was to do the stereotypical cartoon stitches to concrete the fact they're are socks haha

I am enjoying the colored piece and the quality of your lines however there's some parts that need extra work (and I know you know)
I'll give the pointers when im home

Trying something very different. Saw another artist on Tumblr doing something like this and I felt inspired to try it for myself. It's a lot of work for small pictures but the final result is really pleasing to the eye methinks. Using prismacolor brush tip markers as well as some crayola colored pencils.
Some other ones that are more like comics so they should be viewed together:

Now, this probably isn't my place to bring up a critique like this, but this is what I noticed when I saw that bottom pic.
Besides the fact the I'm not sure if legs are able to make a slight curve upwards (it could just be a rubber-hose thing or how the perspective is as far as I know), the curve where the boot starts from the leg looks a little broken to me. It's most noticeable to me with her right leg (or the leg on the left).
Then again, it could be broken like that because that's where her knee's supposed to be. Of course, if that's the case, then I think it could be a little higher and the bend looks a bit more natural.

I believe the anatomy is noodly on her because she's a doll.

I just simply wasn't going for realistic anatomy when I made that. Just wanted something very doll-like and cute. I do admit the left leg inconsistency bugs me though lol
