I wish Nintendo could just make an entire park on their own. They have enough franchises to fill an entire park after all.
I honestly hope they would do that, too. Personally, I was thinking that they're using Universal to test the waters and gain experience to create their own park in the future.

I saw it a bit differently: They used
Nintendo Land to test the waters of how people would react to the mere concept of a Nintendo theme park, fictional as it may be, and then got with Universal after that went over.
Yes, park conquest is always a must. >:D
